A list of things found elsewhere:

• Age of Empires doesn't list 4 at the top but does in the bottom
• Deathloop and Age of Empires 4 don't list Cloud even though they are first party and would definitely not be skipping the cloud
• Plague Tale doesn't list Cloud even though the first game was on Cloud. Similarly with Scorn, I'm doubtful they would skip Cloud for an exclusive on Game Pass.
• Battlefield 2042 does list Cloud so it isn't like Cloud was being skipped.
• Forza Horizon Expansion would likely be named.
• There are no unknown project branding on here. Everything is a safe guess for a named project.
• Deathloop is still a PlayStation exclusive
• Upcoming Game Pass announcements from E3 times historically do not use this format.

It is, because of an exploit. It was easier to just ban it from online than to fix it, I guess.

In fact, it was a similar exploit to the Tomahawk exploit in GT7.

The I-Pace and the Raesr are both banned from online because of an exploit that came up 2 series ago I think? Basically, when they added in the drift 4 speed transmission, both cars dropped PI significantly if said transmission was equipped (the stupid Raesr being the worst culprit, dropping from S2 to A class) and pretty much ruined online racing for a few days. The Raesr in particular was at least 10 seconds faster a lap than anything you could think of in A-Class.

This also makes it a pretty fun way to get the accolades for beating Unbeatable opponents - the rubberband goes crazy and they'll fly past at speeds they have no hope of cornering at. It's carnage.

You can also set your difficulty to Unbeatable, then use a blueprint event (including Playlist races) with the difficulty set to something else. The Accolades only care about your difficulty setting, not the actual race AI.

Puzzles me why someone would go through the trouble to fake stuff in the first place, Especially when the content is nothing special and kind of believable for the most part.

Even though I'm not overly happy that it looks very much like our first FH5 DLC is Hot Wheels I do want it to be good. I've already bought ultimate add on pack (or whatever it's called) and want to enjoy whatever I'm given for my money. My worry is seeing how FH5 has proven a tricky follow on from FH4 for the developers for many reasons i.e, ensuring it works cross-gen, Covid affecting development time etc, is that Hot Wheels DLC 2 doesn't turn out to be a 'difficult second album' for the same reasons.

People will remember, myself included, how great Hot Wheels DLC 1 was. Please PG Games don't drop the ball with this. I'll finish now by just saying I really hope this is good.

So from the looks of this trailer half of the cars will be new (spotted the subaru arx, hennessey venom f5, and the brabham as Fred pointed out) and the rest will be… stuff from the legends car pack and the original hot wheels dlc that was cut from FH4? I spotted the ford dually, rip rod, and the hot wheels mustang. Hoping this paid dlc isn’t padded heavily with stuff just removed prior to this game.

EDIT: Since those actually aren’t on the car list I guess we know what’s on the playlist coming up!

other than that, this looks exponentially nuttier than the FH3 expansion and I bet there's going to be a lot of entertainingly crazy playerbase-created absurdity in the works after this drops.

I've always said that Playground would never be able to top the original Hot Wheels expansion back in FH3. And after FH4's expansions came and went, while good in their own ways, they didn't hold a candle to the insanity of a life-size Hot Wheels playset.

But from what we've seen today, I'm very happy to eat my words.

Expansion car list was worse than expected.
It's a HW expansion, but this is like a Goodwood expansion or Asphalt 9 expansion.

I understand that supercars are popular, but 4 cars is too much. Besides, many of these cars have nothing to do with HW and I had no problem offering them in the car pass or playlist.

I would have liked to have seen an iconic car like the Deora 1 or a custom car that is a HW Legend Tour winner and not yet in the game added to the game instead of these.

Given I saw a few HW cars from prior games and DLC in that trailer like the HW Mustang, Ford F-5 Dually and 2 JET Z, I suspect they’ll be Playlist rewards so everyone will have a chance at getting some more Hot Wheels cars even without the Expansion pack. 👍

Also for those wondering on that DaVinci Concept..

According to Italdesign, it could have a 4.0 litre V8, but I suspect it’s gonna be the Dual Electric Motor version we get.

I thought I wouldn't like it, but it seems the verticals of these tracks are insane! Look forward to it. Also great to see more snow since it was pretty confined to one area understandably in the main map.

Michelin branded Tyres on the Mosler GT3 Race Car. I hope branded tyres become available as an option for all cars instead of FE cars or the Mosler.

Overall I like the car list (more real cars instead of HW cars suits my taste) And I liked the trailer as a whole. The Environment looks great and changed my opinion from a few days ago of indifference to slightly hyped and excited.

Only thing that I disliked was that I was expecting a release late this month/early next but its fine.😄

I’m very pleased with what I’m seeing. Looking forward to several new cars like the Brabham and Baja Boneshaker. I saw the Rip Rod in the video, very happy about that. The Ford Dually, too. I loved that in FH4. The new biomes and tracks look fantastic. I’m going to enjoy it.
