As far as I can tell, the catch is that they all have to be matte (though you can still do matte on gloss)?

I have a feeling that with the HW expansion and series 10 playlist we will be able to get those 5 cars without using wheel spins. But was curious since I have been saving WS since December I think. And this was a perfect opportunity. But man they are rare. Did some grinding today after spinning all my WS and haven't seen a single HW car since morning.

I think 3 of them are actually wheel spin exclusive, but I could be wrong.

They were never going to nail every left-field, niche interest I had, so I can't hold that against them.

I've got at least two existing paints that this will be perfect for - a VW pick-up with GTI wheel arches and an XC version of the V60.

Yes, but those will be available through the playlist. The 3 I mentioned will not be, thus making them wheelspin exclusive at the moment.

You original post assumed we could get all 5 without wheelspins, which is incorrect. Only the Metro and 2JetZ will be obtainable without spins at the moment.

I've just noticed an extra accolade on the Drift Club Story. It's on the final chapter, you need to hit a piñata in chapter. Well I've driven it a few times today and I can't see any piñata anywhere on the course.

I'm sure this has been added this update because I've never noticed it before (but I've been wrong many times before, just ask the wife).

Has anyone else found any piñata on this chapter?

Unfortunate that the texture is global, rather than on a per-primitive basis. But it is cool that the texture is adjustable with a slider, so you can adjust the scale the texture and reflection at a finer granularity than you can with the paint finish. Should make things like a black vinyl top on a black car more convincing.

Sometimes I wonder why are players so desperate to get certain cars and are willing to endure so much for one car...
So today I bought 20 Zenvos and did the grind for Skill Points to unlock 40 SWS and 20 WS. Spun all the wheelspins and got nothing. I was so disappointed yet I bought another 25 Zenvos and did the grind for them too. Finally got another HW car and now missing only the Mustang. And I'm already preparing myself for another grind tomorrow. Why am I doing this?

So, IDK if we would get a separate playlist for the Hot Wheels Expansion, but, there are going to be 4 new types of races that will be introduced in this expansion, plus festival playlist icons.

• Extreme Circuit
• Extreme Street
• Speed Circuit
• Speed Sprint

The icons for them are pretty much the same with its base Horizon counterparts. A "Hot Wheels Goliath" will be the final showcase also for the expansion.

PDLC1 is the rar's name containing of the icons I found, under the UI folder.

A very good tune you made Ak. That Magnum is so OP I almost DNF the entire field during the first race. Than I remembered it's a team event and waited for others.

It's a rename time trial/rivals event yes, it seems it's been called Forza EV as it will only use electric vehicles.

Thx I think it works even better without Splitter and Rear Wing.


Idk about "Team" its mostly you against those humans that have cars that can't handle corners, Divebomb at full speed and try to push you away from checkpoints or into stones and stuff lol.

Yesterday the one Trial run in my video, those [Meow] Crew players drove very fair.

What i do like to do every time i play is to drive the Trial a couple times to help those players that have their issues with the Trial so they get it done.

Last week was a blast too with the Quattro. I think i drove that one ~40 times in 7 days ^^

That tune is soo OP, won both races by a big margin. I don't know if it was an easy trail this week but our team got close to max points on both races but nothing with close to me after the first few corners.
