I love that you can three-tone certain cars in Hot Wheels metal flake.

And I'm glitched out at 99% for complete all missions on Hot Wheels as well 😥😥.

Apart from that I will admit I was highly critical of this DLC calling it rehashed content. While I still believe they shouldn't have revisited Hot Wheels for the DLC I will admit I have enjoyed it so far.

Well, The Livestream was only 24 hours before the release of the update, Likely far to late to change it even if they wanted to.
These streams are planned weeks in advance, and depending on their licensing agreements each image tile needs approval from car manufacturers.

I’m sure the tile is intentional and that the car will come eventually.

It is completely ridiculous how easy it is for the Extreme-E cars to break Skill Chains just by running into destructible objects around the world. I know that it's easier overall to break chains in Horizon 5 compared to 4, but the fact that I can lose a combo just for driving through some metal railings at speed in a Cross-Country race is asinine.

Ugh. I only had the Horizon Tour to do to finish the Weekly Playlist. In the third and final race I was in a comfortable second place when the leader inexplicably turned hard right into the wall just a hundred feet short of the finish. Whatever. First place for me, right? I crossed the finish line and was informed we had become disconnected from the server. No win. No finish. No Horizon Tour. I’m going to have to do the whole ***ing thing over again.

I especially hate when you hit two of the same object in quick succession - like clay pots. You'll lose your chain with the first one, and then get credited with "Feet Of Clay" for the next one a second later. What the heck???

Not strictly true. The 2013 Focus ST was spotted in an equivalent tile in FH4:

The Shelby Raptor was in an animated pause menu tile and the Fortune Island trailer:

And the Jeep Wagoneer was in the same trailer:

And none of these cars ever came to the game.

Seriously, a vehicle weighing near-as-makes-no-difference 2 tons shouldn't be losing combos by running into a bicycle or a potted plant...

Agreed. Perhaps the "crash" determination for the FH series is calculated based on the impact a car receives when it makes contact with an obstacle.
However, this system works in favor of heavy cars, but against light cars in all situations.
Skill chains that are lost when contact is made with destructible objects, and danger signs that are judged as crashes even when proper landings are made.

Hopefully this system will be improved in the future to make it fair for any car.

On the most recent episode of Donut Media's Past Gas, James announces that Donut Media is teaming up with Forza for an upcoming Forza Horizon 5 Donut DLC in September. James mentions the DLC will feature the Hi-Lo cars and Money Pit cars. James, Jeremiah, Nolan, Joe, Jobe, and Justin are in the game as in-game characters. The announcement occurs at 52:00.

Great, so it’s basically another useless collab like Hoonigan where we’ll get versions of already existing cars instead of something new?

Also the DM guys were my least favourite part of Dirt 5, they were so off putting and unnecessary, and now we’ll have them in FH5 too I guess…

Why can’t they collab with a manufacturer instead of influencers, or make a DLC about real Mexican car culture instead with appropriate cars.

I’m happy for those who like DM and hope they enjoy it, but to me this is waste of resources modelling cars that we have in game already.

I just hope this isn’t the second expansion, and this will be a separate DLC or a free update so those who want it can get it and enjoy it.

I feel that it's going to be a Horizon Story in an update in September, like the Top Gear story in FH4.
