I noticed that if you update to race suspension (any other suspension other than the original one really), you lose the rear wheel steering if there was one. Hmmm... Is this supposed to be a bug or?

Yeah, many if not most cars in Horizon does have smaller wheels than real car, and grey tires makes it even worse. (FM7 does not have this issue).
FH5 and FM7 compared;

I always make my wheels 1 size bigger anyway.

So... no mentions for the 1995 GM EV1?

Anyways, what cars may be fit for an addition to the "Horizon Road Trip" update, after the RS e-tron GT?
I’d actually be pretty happy if they included the EV-1. No idea on your second question. I’ll just have to wait and see.

I did a complete 180 lately in terms of cars I want to see in FH5, so now I'm all for everyday cars which I can imagine owning instead of luxury/exotic ones (although they are welcome too of course). Talking about casual EV, BMW i3 seems to be an easy choice. Maybe someone mentioned it here before.

I’d love to have the i3 but it just ceased production, so BMW is probably not interested in having it in a game. The iX and i4 are probably more likely.

Thanks! Good to know and that makes sense. Looks like the iX and i4 both have let's say an unorthodox grill just like the recent M4. Still would be a nice addition and who knows, maybe these grills will grow on me with time

Combing some of the cut cars from FH4, I reckon these definitely fit the theme of Road Trip;

2017 Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Coupé
2010 Aston Martin One-77
2008 Aston Martin DBS
2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed
1991 Bentley Turbo R
2018 BMW i8 Roadster
2011 Eagle Speedster
2011 Ferrari FF
2018 Kia Stinger GT
2009 Lexus IS F
2014 Maserati Ghibli S
2011 McLaren 12C Coupe
2009 Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG Black Series
2018 Morgan Aero GT
2010 Morgan Aero Supersports
2018 Nissan Sentra NISMO
2010 Vauxhall Insignia VXR
2008 Volkswagen Touareg R50

Plus a couple of the 'leaked' cars make sense to me - namely the 2010 Porsche Boxster S, 2006 Koenigsegg CCX & the 2019 Italdesign Da Vinci.

My predictions

2010 Aston Martin One-77
2021 Audi RS E-Tron GT
2019 Italdesign Da Vinci
2006 Koenigsegg CCX
2009 Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG Black Series
2010 Porsche Boxster S

1 less car than last month - I'd love to have 7 (or more) each month but I doubt PG will keep that up - it seems to fluctuate between 5 - 8 cars each series/update. Only exception is Series 8 which was combined with the Series 7 update, makes sense to have less cars since it was a 2 for 1.

Also wouldn't be cool to bring back the Road Trip challenges from FH1? If you remember those - they were a part of the co-op challenges you could do in free-roam. Here's a link to them; https://www.trueachievements.com/game/Forza-Horizon/walkthrough/4

Makes a lot of sense with the theme of the series being "Horizon Road Trip"

I particularly liked how a lot of them were themed to a brand or car type, forced you to cruise in different cars that you usually would. With FH5's much bigger car roster & map, you have plenty of variety and opportunity to make heaps of these road trip challenges. Could also be a cool addition to the festival playlist - breaks up the racing activities a little bit and it should be really easy to create these challenges around the theme of the playlist itself.

I’m sorry, but all of these should’ve been in FH5 from the start :banghead:

Also good shout on the FH1 road trip challenges, that’d be awesome.

I'm thinking that "Horizon Road Trip" would lead into the addition of more SUVs and vans, as well. Badge and wheel textures for the 2005 Pontiac Aztek (name even fits the Mexico setting very well), 2017 Volvo XC90 and 2018 Honda Odyssey Elite exist.

A possible odd addition that hasn't been in FH4 and FM7 that fit the Road Trip theme perfectly may be the Ford Country Squire, last seen in FM6.

I'm all for a road trip themed season. Just so long as they don't bring punchable FH2 fest organiser Ben Miller back. Ashley the mechanic chick was okay though. She can come back anytime although I'm not sure Alejandra would welcome the competition.

The Aztek, XC90 and Odyssey: my Holy Trinity

The Country Squire is a bonus :D

The Nissan Safari is also a good fit for a Road trip.

Those have been in the files since at least FH4, if not earlier. I think you might be reading too much into the texture stuff.

Anyone else having trouble completing the Xpeng Monthly Rivals on the playlist? It just wont register for me, I did the BMW one and it registered fine.

Told you there would be a '77 Escort 😂. #5 to be precise.
I didn't have a Lightweight E-Type so I was glad of the opportunity to pick one up.

I wish they'd recorded a short message from Tommy to play when you access the shop on Wednesday's but it's not important.
