Looking at the new title screen, I noticed something. I don't think we have the Camaro SS in the game...

Probably a repainted ZL1 standing in for an SS?

I was probably thinking about the 1LE, but maybe the normal ZL1 has the smaller wing.

It is the normal ZL1, but it's not the 2012 model. It's the sixth-gen model. I admit the remade intro sequence for this week could've been better honestly.

Yeah, that's where he is in the photo...
Indeed. Keen eye. 😎 I took it during the story which is probably why it didn’t register, but that‘s still a bit silly because it was there (and the car registered anyway).

Anyone else had a weird bug in the very first opening race in the AMG One that you had no car sound? (I was in cockpit view). Later in fee roam with my own One it was okay.

They've put up a car voting thread on the official forums. I assume this is to gauge interest in specific cars, but the selection is huge. I'm only up to Studebaker, lol.

This list actually came from my previous tally, and I chose models that had been mentioned by two or more forums users over the years. Originally I had a full list of 8000+ but decided that was too much and started limiting models to generation including all body types and specs, so I got it down to 4000+.
I'll be making improvements such as url links in the index, various polls for more specific info etc over the weekend and well into the future. I just need to catch up on some sleep.
Tip: the Suggestion Hub defaults to display topics by most votes, which can push pinned messages down below your "last visit" which the forums seem to consider your current visit - refresh the browser and you should see the pinned Index and guidance threads pop to the top.

Same here, restarting the event fixed it. The FH1 story was actually okay, but I didn't really enjoy the others.

Actually I got the location (but not the car, obviously) for my article cover shot...

(speaking of, if anyone spots any errors in it, PM me; I've been dead on my arse all week, tested twice for COVID because of how COVID I feel but both negative)
Get well soon bud

Thank you for posting this. I've just voted for the Weismann MF5. In my eyes one of the most beautiful looking cars ever.

Questions for the new suggestion hub.
With this forum update we got a separate tab for some suggestions other than cars.
I want to post a suggestion for a body kit or rims, do I have to suggest something different than what I have posted in the past in the Customization Wish List thread?

I'm a little confused as to whether I should or should not post the thread again, as it's not obvious if I'm carrying over previous suggestions as in the car vote tab.

It took me about four tries before I finally got three stars.
Whoa, check out Skip Barber over here. It took me something like 8 or 9, and it wasn't until I realized that I should save 7th gear for the last mile or so when the only turns in the road were super-slight (otherwise this thing seemed to lose a lot of speed in the corners no matter how well I took each apex) that I managed something in the 2:09.6xx range. The brake-checking, racing line-hogging Koenigsegg you dogfight with in the early technical sections sure didn't help.

Incidentally, the reason I tried doing this over and over for nearly a half-hour was because I thought I needed to 3-star the entire story to get the 12 points. And the reason I thought that was because it did not give me the points for completing it and also still hasn't given me the points for acing it.

Not to rub the salt in that little more, but I ran right through that intro race 1st time out despite the no engine sound bug. :P

Also the Viper AE is a grip monster in S2, even when RWD, ran a 50.984 around the Festival Race Track.

So I did my first suggestion and this one is obvious: Cut back on the excessive spoon-feeding of the Autoshow cars. I do enjoy the Festival Playlist, but I don't like how often the buyable cars are just handed to you like candy. My solution: credit boosts or XP boosts. Or at least give us a hard to find car like the Civic GRC, which I still don't own.

Who says you have to be on the road the whole time? I took some creative liberties with my routes.
Oh, I thought of that, and I tried a few different straight-line shortcuts but figured they were losing me more time than just sticking to the tarmac. It was making me crazy because the first time I did the run, I two-starred it because I was half-distracted and figured "I could always come back to this later," and then the next four chapters proved almost hilariously easy to three-star first try so I assumed the first one would be just as easy if I focused.

In any case, still not getting the points for it. Do I need to clear every single accolade? I think I missed the bonus board in the Colorado chapter and that's the only one I'm missing (not counting the "smash every board" accolade that'd pop alongside it).

I did pass the 20-point threshold to nab the 599XX by doing the Trial. I do not recommend this unless you are very hard up for points and want to try your luck with a stock Shelby Mustang on twisty technical wet-tarmac circuits. Somehow my team won despite the presence of multiple checkpoint-missing, wall-kissing, car-flipping bozos who were clearly way in over their heads (including myself, at least the first race before my "drive fast car slow" instincts kicked in.)

Yeah, I'm gonna wait until a video shows up on YouTube that shows the best route to take since that race doesn't have any checkpoints.

I understand that the current prizes have been chosen to provide cars for use in other challenges on the playlist.
However, many of them are inexpensive cars that can be purchased for less than 50000cr on autoshow and are certainly unnecessary prizes that can easily be purchased by beginners. (And for players who have been playing this game since its release, they are more of a distraction that just adds to the hassle of deleting them)

And these prizes reduce the motivation to want to play the season championship.
Back in FH4, I very often played the Seasonal Championship regardless of the points required.
Because those events gave me exclusive cars from the past and were perfect for my play style of owning multiple favorite models in different tunes and livery.
I understand that they have reduced the frequency of offering past exclusives in order to maintain user engagement and further intentionally inflate the AH market price, but I would like a better prize.

I used this video to help me 3-star the chapters I struggled with. I also noticed that the game awads you 3 stars for the chapter even if you only get 3 stars in one of the races for the chapter.
