There's a bunch of cars shown in trailers that we don't have access to. In the Update 4 one, you can see the Porsche Boxter in the background. There's also the Huayra and Vanquish of course.
I hope they bring back the Huayra soon. I would assume they have the license since they can literally show it in the game's intro. Just a matter of time now.

I love that car.

This makes my avatar look even more like Timmy Mallet, he's only got Mallets Mallet in his hands lol.

For my non UK based friends Timmy Mallet was a 1980's early morning kids TV presenter. Google him, it'll be an experience for you 😂😂😂.
I've got the same celebration for victory, and the T-rex toy for the loading screens.

That's the same combo I had until earlier this week bud. I've swapped out my T-Rex for the toy plane.
Ha,I had the same as well, but now use the photographer at the loading screen since I found it hard to actually see the little T-Rex, which was usually behind something.

Ghost our ****ing teammates for the Trial PG, for the love of god. It took me a dozen attempts at least to actually win the thing because the game is hellbent on making me start dead last for some forsaken reason... I spent half the first race fighting against my own ****ing teammates before I was able to bring a fight to the AI. Absolutely infuriating.

Completing today’s Daily Forzathon Challenge “Horizon Legacy” was way too much work for one lousy point. The challenge is “Complete a Horizon Open Race in the 2013 Dodge Viper GTS.” The problem is that the Custom Racing lobby doesn’t count. But you don’t learn that until you’ve run a race there, which explains why everyone in S1 Road Racing is in a 2013 Dodge Viper. You have to use the Open Racing lobby, and just wait for an S1 Road Racing lobby to come up. After 20 tries and getting only S2, A, and B lobbies, I finally got desperate and took the first S1 class lobby that popped up: Off-Road. I slipped and slid around for three races before I quit out and got the completion notice.
For the love of Papa Fernando, Playground, I realise that being forced to push Open is probably a thing BUT if you're going to make a daily challenge dependent on a specific PI class (and road surface), don't make us start it on the last day of the week when restart time is scarce.

I was looking for a new design for my Aston Martin DBX. There a tons of designs that are simply single colors with nothing added to them, and yet they have hundreds, sometimes thousands of downloads. How is that even possible? Is it PC players modding the game to give themselves a boost?

Thank god I'm not the only one that thinks about this. I've been trying hard to find racing paintjobs for some supercars that I like and all I see such as you said, single colours or even metallic gold or trying to replicate Tron crap or something. It's very annoying that you can't find the design you are looking for your car.

To be fair, you still have a full week to complete it like any other daily, it just seems more urgent because the weekly challenges expire that day.

If I paint my cars an OEM colour that isn't normally available, I often upload it as a livery, and sometimes they'll get dozens of downloads. There's a desire for cars painted in more special colours like PTS Porsches, sometimes a colour might be popular from a celebrity or someone owning one, and so on.

When it comes to liveries that are plain black for example, I suspect that a decent amount of players don't know about the paint shop, and instead just pick a colour from the suggested liveries that show up when buying a car. Once something gets into those suggestions it's likely to stay there. This isn't a uniquely Forza thing either, any game with a livery editor is like this.

Thanks, I didn't know that. My bad.

It's the path of least resistance for players by game design. If they added an extra step just after purchasing a car with a screen featuring only two options to choose livery or factory/user colours it might reduce this, but at the expense of having marginally more streamlined gameplay. I guess PG didn't think it worth the extra man hours (or hour, or person lol). FH1 had an actual separate paint shop location you had to drive to but some players might consider that an additional hassle they don't need.

There are two reasons.

1. Speed, not quality, is the highest priority in today's creative hubs. If shared quickly, it will be seen by people before other players' liveries, and those liveries will continue to appear at the top of search results, etc. as the "most popular liveries". Most people don't check the bottom of the creative hub. The "popular" liveries stay popular because they are popular.

2. As others have already pointed out, the Xbox One era Forza displays the creative hub before the OEM colors. Therefore, players who are unaware of the ability to switch to OEM colors will select the "popular" liveries that appear on the top page. Needless to say they choose them.

Developer Preview Livestreams usually happen the Monday before the new Series Starts. We know nothing else about it until then.

Series 14 will be the RB/Donut Media update, but Torben Tuesday had quite a cryptic teaser for Series 15 if I say so myself:
Your guess is as good as mine over what all that means...

Presumably almost all of the cars will be Donut Media collaboration cars.
They have suggested on their podcast that several of their cars will be added to the game.
Perhaps one car will be an Accolade reward for the new Horizon Story, and the others will be playlist rewards.

Horizon 1 had a less than awesome ending for me after beating Darius Flynt and winning his 599XX Evo. I teleported to Race Central but nothing happened. All the star showdowns and the final disappeared from the map.

I guess the spooky fan theory about Horizon 1 guy wiping out on the way back from his last race is true and my character is doomed to haunt the Colorado festival for eternity as a disembodied spectre. 😱

Series 15 will be Xmas/Winter here in Europe, so my guesses for vehicles are:

Snow Mobile (Turbo fitted)
Zamboni (Turbo fitted)
Mountain Horse (Turbo fitted)
Kids Sled (Turbo fitted)
Finally, ho ho ho...

I remember reading all this conspiracy in one of the Forza iceberg videos...it just sounds too weird and creepy.

Happy Hallowe'en season, everyone. When you click on the forum link in the reddit story the post it refers to has mysteriously disappeared. This is too much for me, guys, I'm outta here.
Darius is definitely alive. He served me in my local chippy the other night. He was on a shift with Elvis.
Halfway through my final showdown Flynt crashed into a barn in Bunker and totalled his 599XX. Seconds later he was back on my tail as if nothing had happened. Woo-oo-ooo 👻

Many ADV.1 wheels were added in the update, and the unexpected surprise for me was the addition of this wheel.

As you can see from the lip logo, this is a rim with a carbon lip produced in collaboration with ADV.1 and Dymag.
Therefore, this wheel belongs to the lightest category of wheels in FH5.

Wheels in this category have been

  • Too old in modeling to bear much resemblance to the real thing (e.g. TE37)
  • Those for race cars (e.g. Speedline, OZ Racing)
  • Those for drag racing (e.g. Weld)

Thus, the category has been biased and lacked wheels with beauty and versatility.
The addition of the ADV.1 rim is an inconspicuous but great update that adds a wheel of beauty and versatility to this category.

I've been thinking and seeing as FH6 is likely to be released on this generation of machines only I'd like to see it based in South Africa.

You have Johannesburg for example as the city, so much open and varied countryside for exploring and X-Country, beautiful coastlines and we've not been to Africa yet in the series. I really do think it could be a fantastic entry to the series. Don't get me wrong I think Japan could be good also, but I'd love an African setting.

Trailblazing off Table Mountain sounds great but I hope the radio stations don't include a headphone-busting 24-hour vuvuzela channel. Although we'd probably need it to drown out the howls of anguished weebs
