Man imagine my horror seeing that roulette wheel thing for the first time. :(

Thank god no cars are lock behind it.

Overall great first day I completed a bunch of stuff and got my money up to 500k.

My first goal is to buy the Ferrari FXX-K and FXX-K EVO.
But you'd be wrong because there are a few Wheelspin-exclusive cars such as the Pagani Huayra BC and Saleen S7.

fxxk-evo is free for first purchase

Chikane, that's if you got the carpass. Otherwise you can't use it without it. I would gift you cars that you can't buy at the autoshow like the F-Type for example. Sadly, I'm not so sure. And unfortunately, the Festival Playlist right now doesn't have any hard-to-find car since there hasn't been any in large numbers since Series 1 or 2. And 20% of them are via wheelspins while the remaining returning FH4 cars are cycled through the Playlist.

As much as I am disappointed with the MB rewards, but if you beat some street races you'll get a Midnight Battle with a hard-to-find car like the Mach 1 Mustang.

There are some new purchasable cars like the Extreme E Hummer* (which is one of the 10 variants, individually licensed) and the 300 SLR (Fair warning, because it costs 143 MILLION Cr). Some are redeemable in accolades (and since one of them is a Daytona Coupe which is 30M, it would be better).

*While the actual model is slightly different, this variant shares the same body as all other Odyssey 22 Extreme E cars due to reference issues.

@Chikane_GTR, look through the accolades screen. There are a lot of cars you can unlock for free. Here’s a list of all the cars unlocked through the accolade system, and how to unlock them.

The Super Seven usually has a free car for completing it. It updates every week, so be sure to check back weekly.

Check out the Forzathon Shop. That has cars you can buy with Forzathon Points rather than credits. You get the points by completing the weekly playlist and competing in Horizon Arcade events. Access the shop through pause>campaign>weekly playlist>forzathon shop, or if you’re in your home or a Festival Outpost, my festival>festival playlist>forzathon shop. This week you can pick up the Maserati MC12 Corsa and McLaren 720S Spider for 700 and 300 FP respectively.

Speaking of wheelspins, you can only earn the horns and clothes once. Once you win one, it drops out of the wheelspin rotation. Eventually you’ll have them all and the prizes will just be cars and credits. You can speed that process up by buying all the clothes yourself, removing them from the wheelspin.

Finally, there are five cars that are hidden inside other cars. Each car has a car mastery screen. From an outpost or home, go garage>upgrades & tuning>car mastery. You get car mastery points just by driving. These are the cars you can unlock.
2012 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon car mastery contains the 2013 DeBerti Wrangler Unlimited
1969 Dodge Charger R/T car mastery contains the 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona Hemi
1995 Porsche 911 GT2 car mastery contains the 1991 Hoonigan Porsche 911 Turbo RWB
1990 Mazda Savanna RX-7 car mastery contains the 1992 Hoonigan Mazda RX-7 Twerkstallion
1997 Lamborghini Diablo SV car mastery contains the 1999 Lamborghini Diablo GTR.

I hope this helps.

No problem. If it didn't fix it I was going to suggest you throw the console my way but I've already got one, lol.

I noticed that when my PC (which I ran at 4k 30fps because it had a 1070 card installed) died recently and I switched to Series X the game was easier to play since I could start running at 60 frames per second.

When I got my LG C2 TV I whacked the console refresh rate up to 120Hz and found cornering even easier. I always figured that this was due to smoother reactions because of the better feedback but this gamer seems to have discovered that the physics actually change based on the frame rate.

Members of the PC master race with higher end graphics cards experience even more of an advantage according to his video. At least this maybe explains why whenever I complain about certain events someone always posts to say they found the same event simple and more fun.

I've watched this video also a few days ago. It's interesting to say the least.

What is going on at PG?

A Ford themed playlist - with not even a returning Ford. Honestly disappointed.

Also, what happened to the Nissan Z?
Knowing that the Nissan Z prolly has a similar legacy to its prior generations (for being a tuner's pick), Playground is saving it for a future update, where it could be very customizable (HKS, StreetHunter, etc.), or are saving it for the 2023 production year rather than releasing it this month.

It's gonna be in expansion 2 isn't it?

That could be a safe assumption. If they're claiming that the next expansion is going to be big, they're going to be adding big car names like the Z and maybe some of the highly requested cars in their Suggestion forums

Watch the next expansion be teased as “big” cause it’ll be a Mega Bloks expansion :P
Can only imagine... whatever this is arriving at the finish line in Guanajuato like "wassup"

Mega Bloks is a frankly insulting idea. :grumpy::grumpy:

This is a CAR game and Playground should forge partnerships with companies that have long established histories of manufacturing classic vehicles... like Tonka :D.

I mean, when it comes to producing iconic trucks, they've literally been on fire lately.

Why does the man at the end of the video look like he's riding an invisible donkey?

Strange, I can't say I've noticed much difference playing on the Series X at 4k@60fps or on my PC (very pretty at extreme/ultra settings) at 1440p@90-100fps when it comes to the physics.

I do agree that 30fps is noticeably harder to drive with (e.g. FH3 on Series X at 4k@30fps is painful when you can play FH3 on the PC at 3 times that).

I should also point out that 120Hz mode for Forza on Xbox Series X doesn't exist, so what you are getting is basically just frame doubling - the Series X certainly isn't running the game faster than 60fps because it has absolutely no extra performance on tap to do so. Which means that the physics won't change either.

See list of officially supported Series X 120Hz titles here: https://www.windowscentral.com/list-xbox-series-x-and-s-games-120-fps-support

Perhaps your improved cornering is due to reduced input latency when you have the TV in 120Hz mode?

Too bad I can no longer test this out but it sounds like you'd need to drop the resolution to achieve 90hz unless master race. I don't think my card would've coped.

I love it. The wood framing can't be painted or covered with vinyls, so I decided to lean into it by painting the car in each of the three woodtone colors in the special colors tab. Everything green you see is vinyls. It makes the car look like the entire rear section is wood, giving it a much more classic "woody" look.

My apologies if my post quoting Populuxe comes out weird, but somehow it's not showing what I'm typing on my end.

Edit: So what I wanted to write was that I downloaded 3 of Populuxe's woody designs for the Morris Traveler, and that I'm really liking the yellow option the best.
Edit2: Wow, my phone really likes to suddenly add tons of space between lines.
