I had 2 easy wins as well, had a great team in fact this time. We both of the first 2 races comfortably. I was 4th and 5th in the respective races. The game gave me a tuned vehicle as a purchase as my current S2000 wasn't A Class.

I wouldn't say the Volcan Sprint needs to be banned from The Trial. The fact it's challenging is the reason to keep it bud. In a game that gives players stuff far too easily at times, a challenge is welcome in my book.

It also has some details about why Lancia still ain't in the game, as well as the Porsche exclusivity with EA.
To clarify, it has some theories, not details/answers.

His theories seem pretty sound though (I watched the whole video, it's well-researched), but the truth is only known to those within the OEM and publishers' licensing departments.

OMG you will definitely pass me in the Hall of Fame leader board! How?? 🤣

I must say that the new test track feature is such big QOL feature for me. I might get serious in start using my tunes instead of downloading others every time.
I hoped a little bit that Pathfinder would carry over. It was sooooooo much better than finding clues. It's just a treasure hunt so it doesn't matter much.
And hats down for Hoki. That Tsukuba Blueprint is amazing. Actually there were plenty of really awesome Event Labs lately.
I can't wait to see how much it will grow.
It's a good time to play the game. And I'm happy with the new DLC too. We got plenty in ultimate and I gladly support a developer who is giving so much free content and constantly update their games.

I wouldn't worry too much about me passing you anytime soon bud. The Eliminator doesn't interest me too much. I'm trying to get my vinyls and tunes (I've completed liveries) noticed to complete those accolades, I'm getting there slowly.

Until they stopped it a few updates back I use to rerun a photo challenge (the one just north of 9f the main festival) daily for the accolade points. A bit cheeky I know but it helped me up the board. I only ever thought I'd make top 1000 when I first started doing the daily runs, I never thought I'd get this high.

Hoki's track this week is good isn't it. The other isn't bad either but it really doesn't need the jumps in it. I couldn't agree more with you about the PathFinders bud, they were bloody great. I really hope they come back.

Well... not only :D

I will add that the only new FCA/PSA cars appearing post-Stellantis are those that were made pre-Stellantis (such as the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm in GT7) and covered by pre-Stellantis licensing agreements, and legacy cars are only appearing in titles that have either very long or in-perpetuity licensing. Forza famously has extremely short contracts; FM7 was withdrawn from sale just shy of four years after launch due to no longer holding licenses for some vehicles.

It's also worth noting that while Stellantis now handles all brands' PR at once (with the press offices for all of them being the same people), Maserati is an exception. I know all of the UK's PR teams, and while Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Citroen, FIAT, Jeep, Peugeot, and Vauxhall are all the same people, Maserati has its own, separate arm with no overlap.

Which is a good time for me to show off the fact I was at a Maserati event two weeks back :D

What I definitely can't tell you though is why Stellantis has become so reluctant to license its brands in major games. Nobody I've asked has an answer (although several have a sigh and a look of resignation).

I don't keep my ear to the ground in regards to motoring news as much as I'd like these days, but I had no idea they'd launched another SUV (honestly thought it was a facelift for the Levante at first glance). Looks strikingly similar to a Cayenne or Macan with some eBay vents stuck on the wing; not saying its ugly per se, but you can tell there isn't a lot of ways to go in terms of styling in that segment.

I agree, and they shouldn't stop adding French cars until we get to the real esoteric stuff. Like, a I want a Ligier two-fer featuring the JS2 and JS4.

It's not complete if it doesn't have the scariest of all Ligier cars.

The JS8! Tremble, fools! Tremble, before its 7.5 horsepower! Peel ain't got nothin' on this.

(edit: different picture without a URL on it)

Ah yes, the Grecale. Based on Stelvio underpinnings, but richer and prettier in my opinion. Trofeo model should be a great look, and where I am from the Grecale commands a base price of $104,000. Not exactly cheap. Loaded models can cost as high as $125k.

I want this just as much as the MC20, and I do want to own one of these in the future.

Ha, I was thinking about which of their goofy microcars would be the funniest option and forgot which one of them had actually been modded for Assetto Corsa.

That explains why GRID Legends has the Lancia Stratos then (and WRC Generations the Delta), they’re historic and pre-Stellantis models and (probably, because it’s not my area to speak on) a legacy agreement.

Still a curiosity that the Stratos never made it to Forza Horizon 5 despite being in the early builds, guess we’ll never know.

I apologize for the doublepost but...

What the heck happened to these telephone poles?

EDIT: Looks like this graphics issue went away by restarting the game.

Amother dumb request from me. It's weird but I just can't seem to trigger the hard charger skill with my Evo VIII for the #Forzathon.

As soon as I leave the house I jam on the accelerator and hare down the road for ten seconds. I even teleported to the motorway and tried again but no luck. Launch control and changing/removing tunes had no effect either.

I combined it with a Test Track Forzathon. I think I did an engine swap, slick tires, assorted other upgrades, then tested it out on the drag strip (still in Test Track mode). Got the hard charger and however many Test Track miles, then abandoned setup.

Edit: I also adjusted the gearing to get the most acceleration while hitting the needed speed.

Just do a donut for burnout skill first than reach 130mph (not sure) for the speed skill. You have like 30 seconds of time to do both. Not sure about this one either but you have plenty of time. 😅

With the Steam summer sale, I'm thinking about picking up the two DLCs. Is it worth getting the "Premium Add-On" over the DLC bundle?

Brilliant, thanks! This worked like a charm.

The premium add on includes the car pass DLC and the VIP pack, as well as both expansion DLCs. Unless you hate having more cars, it's definitely worth it for the tiny price difference.
