I don't doubt that, and I also realize that car licensing is something, through PG's own admission, goes through development and usually is lead right up to the end. However, considering that the Stellantis deal was consummated in January, you don't think that PG or T10, whoever does licensing for Forza overall, would have been more pro-active in getting it done?
I seriously doubt that is the case. It was pretty clear from the jump that Polyphony had temporary exclusive rights to Toyota considering everyone, from NFS to Forza, was suddenly dropping a company that for the most part, didn't care where their cars were, just that they were there. It's pretty clear the Stellantis merger is the main culprit - but I don't think PG/T10 is entirely innocent or blameless in this case.
