I’ll do what I do every time: search for boards for about a week, then give up and get a board map from Reddit.

I did that once, I think FH2 or FH3. But I prefer to at least for a couple of weeks keep the joy of finding the boards myself, its not like they are absolutely necessary for the gameplay (many months post-release everyone is swimming in credits anyway).

I'm still wondering whether to buy this game from Steam or the Microsoft Store. Is there any difference between the two?

I think the Steam version is more stand alone. The Microsoft version is part of Gamepass and works with Play Anywhere towards Xbox consoles (shared progression). It’s basically the same shared game, I bought FH5 from the Xbox store and just downloaded in on my Windows PC as well.

No. no no no no no no no. I think my XBox is bricking itself. I played a bit of FH4 earlier tonight, but it crashed twice trying to start Wreckfest. I’ve restarted the XBox several times, but it gets worse with each attempt to start it. At first I could get to the Home Screen, but then it wouldn’t start any games. Then I couldn’t get past the login screen. And now it just stays black, won’t even play the XBox start up screen.

Same guy is also claiming Rocket Bunny are in the game, I'm hesitant to believe though when we've heard its gone from basically everyone else.

Technically the Hoonigan Escort RS1800 wears a Rocket Bunny kit, though it's a one-off, so there's at least one car with a RB kit. But until we don't see it in the other caars I'd rather wait.

That sucks. Perhaps try leaving it switched off for an hour or more and then trying again once it's cooled down?

That’s what I’m going to do. I’m going to unplug it and go to bed and hope it improves it’s disposition overnight. If not, then I guess I’m buying a refurbished XBox One on Friday morning, because that’s all I can afford that will play FH5.

I had the same problem with my old Xbox One last year. Just do a complete shutdown of the console (be sure you don't have fast boot on) and it'll be ok

It's kind of hard to adjust system settings when the console won't boot up properly. Disconnecting the mains adaptor brick seems like the best way to go.

Definitely. At least unplugging it from a power source works similarly to a full power shutdown so hopefully that alleviates something.
