It sounds like you zoomed in on the worst parts of the soundtrack with laser pointed accuracy. I think it's an improvement over the previous game and the original pieces add a lot of atmosphere. What kind of music would you have preferred?
 
I have 15 hours played on my Series X, and in that time I've had zero crashes or significant issues.
What I did get was regular online timeouts (which should now be solved) and ~4 times where I was driving in free roam and the car suddenly stopped dead for no reason. That's it.

Exactly the same experience on One X (which I thought might struggle a bit), this game seems to be perfectly optimized (which wasn't the case with FH3).
 
What on earth Audi are we meant to use for the Speed Zone on the play list. Says S2 998 but I can’t get any Audi to that level. Tried it with a S2950 R8 and it didn’t trigger so what am I missing?

I failed on this too, but is it possible that The Festival UI shows you a list of cars allowed if you use a given displayed button like it do for some other events?
I won the Drag race with a Moder Sport Cars and it didn't trigger the rewards. Annoying.

I did it with a S2 R8 and it worked for me. So no idea why you have problems. Maybe try it in Solo?

I had two crashes when trying the Colossus. Everything else work fine and my OneS seems ok.

I'm only playing in Solo, 3 starred it as well. Strange, I'll go back and keep doing it till it flags I guess.

No, there's a button to show vehicle requirements in the Playlist but it just states Audi, S2 998 and has a picture of an S1 which can't get to that stat level anyway 😆

There's a separate thread on this forum where the PC issues have been discussed at length. I'vehad a couple of crashes on Series X but I can't recall Horizon Life kicking me off since they applied the server-side fix @ManteoMax was talking about.

Is it this network issue that sometimes cause the car to stop suddenly, even at full speed? Last time, after the network patch that the devs talked about, it wasted a running +750,000 skill points (i know it doesn't give Mastery points beyond 500,000, but i was trying to push my record to see if an accolade was going to trigger)
 
Today all my previously done Forzathon stuff suddenly stopped registering as complete. Anyone else had the same thing today?

I think that's just saying that it needs to be any S2 Audi, it doesn't have to be maxed out. I did it with the older R8 and that was at like 830 IIRC.

I'm not usually a big fan of the 350Z, but with the new sound differences via upgrading parts, I stumbled upon a fantastic combination that makes the VQ35 sound like Hell's fury.

Just try the following combo; Sport Air Intake, Race Intake Manifold and Sport Exhaust.

I've been messing around with this too, but not the 350. I'll have to give it a shot. I was wary about the diesel engine swap, until I put it in the '69 Charger and made it an off-road beast. It's ridiculous how that engine can take a car like the Charger and make it good at something it has no business being good at, lol.

Yup same thing happened to me, and then it randomly came back and then went away sporadically over the last few days, allowed me to get two off the Alpines though so that was nice. It’s been tracking fine since yesterday morning for me and did recognize progress I made while it was messed up.
 
I've been playing the game (PC, MS Store edition) nonstop since the 5th, and only had one crash.

I bought an R8 and built it up to S2/905. It doesn’t have to be built all the way up to 998. It just has to be in the S2/998 class. Once I did that, I easily got the seasonal bonus on the speed trap.

That happened to me the other day. It said it switched to a fallback server or something. Everything came back after a while though, but not before I snagged a second Alpine to sell on the Auction House.
 
Online is still broken. I tried to join a Horizon Open for the Playlist and it instantly crashed.
 
Online has been mostly stable for me since Sunday. Personal rant... I REALLY wish they'd find a fix for people who sit and block the flag capture area on Capture The Flag. Totally ruins the fun 😒
