Sorry for another annoying Seasonal Playlist question, but I've tried using an 2015 Audi TT for the Speed Zone, but it's saying incorrect car, despite the restrictions saying an Audi up to S2 998. Also what track toy car do people recommend for the Speed Trap, I have a Caterham with a tune but can't get enough speed out of it.

Finding it a bit frustrating trying to work out what I need to complete all the Playlist stuff as the restrictions don't seem clear enough to me (unless I'm just being an idiot).
A few people in the previous page have suggested Audis in response to my same question.

The speed trap I used a 911 GT2 maxed out to S2998.

Did you tune your TT above 900 PI?

I was lucky enough to have played FM7 and received a free Porsche 911 GT RS to use as my Coast View speed trap Track Toy.

EDIT: Tree'd

I haven't as yet, I just tried the Stock version but said it was incorrect. I just assumed it was any Audi that could be used in stock condition. I'll check out the posts Magpie Racer suggested.

I'll try using up the Porsche as I got one for playing FM7. I can see why they've decided to set restrictions on Seasonal PR stunts but I don't find them too clear.

The BAC Mano will work well for that speed trap as well.

This is the share code for my build 441 587 735. It’s for the 911 GT2 RS. It’s just S2 948 because I want it to be driveable. Make your run south to north starting from the Dunas Blancas stretch.

So wished the incar steering turned more than 90 degrees each way, kinda off putting on that turning your wheel further decreases your turning circle.

Nice one thanks, I'll give that a go. I've gone South to North when I've attempted it anyway so I can get a good run up to it. I only need to complete those last 2 PR events and I've got both reward cars.

I used the ZL-1 Camaro with an Exorcist tune for the Speed Trap.

Also, has anyone tried Streamer Mode yet? And is it safer than 4's? I'm thinking about doing some FB streams over the weekend.

Worth noting with the Audi speed zone as I've just found it, there's a minimum speed to hit for it to trigger, it just doesn't say it anywhere. I ran it again in the R8 and it popped up saying 9mph needed for playing challenge. And the speed it needs is higher than the 3 star speed.

So I completed all road, off-road and cross country races, plus all street races, including the ones you unlock (Goliath, marathon, gauntlet, etc). However...

in FH4 you had 71 events and 21 street races.
in FH5 the stats page says 85 events and 21 street races. But it only lists me having completed 70 events and 21 street races.

so where are the other 15 events?

I've done one Horizon Open championship. I chose my Pontiac Firebird FE for a scramble series. I chose poorly. I took a dragster to an off-road fight. I came in last in all three races. But my team won races one and three, so I was the little boat anchor that won.

Mine was all street races, so I rocked the 911 GT2, it was stock since I haven't spent much time in the garage and thankfully the game is new so not everyone knows the tracks yet lol

I have to say, the announcer they hired for the Lucha de Carreteras story is amazing. One of the best vocal performances in Horizon's history.

If you have the 1987 Pontiac Firebird Trans AM GTA FE, I have a maxed out AWD S2 958 tune for it (the FE is a track toy in the game). Super easy to get the achievement following the road coming from the north area of the map. Just use automatic transmission as I used the 10 speed gearbox for it and it shifts a lot. 😁

The upgrades are quite cheap, it was all together below 40k credits and the car is completely maxed out. It’s a good investment as well since the skill tree of the Firebird FE looks great for free roam / skill song skill point farming. Tomorrow I will give it a go when I have the car’s skill tree maxed out and see how it compares to my X5M FE and Hoonigan RS200, those are the 2 cars I’m currently using to go in mental “smactus“ mode during skill songs, but I have a feeling the Firebird FE is better, it has all the goodies from faster multiplier, drift skills, ultimate chains, wreckage etc. IIRC it’s only missing an increased skill multiplier but that doesn’t matter during skill songs anyway since the cap is 10. And the FE bonus is drift skills which is great too. If it’s a great skill point farmer then I’ll make a maxed out off-road build for it tomorrow.

I also made a “stealth black“ paint with metallic black accents for the Pontiac since I don’t like the car in plain white.

share codes :
tune : 864 783 211
design : 177 189 574

had a glitch just now. said failed to connect to server (or something like that) then it placed me in the festival playlist where i was able to redeem the two prize cars again. any1 else noticed a similar issue?

Yep! Yesterday. My duplicate NSX GT already sold on the AH for over 1 mill credits. 😁
good to know. hope mine does just as good.

also any1 won the ae86 from a wheel spin? according to the car collection the car is possible to be won in a wheelspin. seasonal event, festival playlist or the forzathon shop.

I got an AE86 from a wheelspin last night.

Well lucky me, I got gifted a 2020 Shelby GT500! I already thought the car drop feature was a neat idea, but this just makes me like it even more!

And of course, first thing I do with the car is make a mess of it...

It's not the most amazing thing ever, but it's proven to be quite useful for farming up skill points once you get a good rhythm going with e-brake drifts.
Is it this network issue that sometimes cause the car to stop suddenly, even at full speed? Last time, after the network patch that the devs talked about, it wasted a running +750,000 skill points (i know it doesn't give Mastery points beyond 500,000, but i was trying to push my record to see if an accolade was going to trigger)
There is an accolade relating to that, but it's not what you think.

The accolade is for losing a skill chain worth at least 1,000,000 points.

Been playing since day one and I can't believe I accomplished a lot such as:

  • Getting all three stars in all PR stunts
  • Exploring all the roads in Mexico (trophy popped up for me at 573 out of 578 roads) and found every Landmark
  • Completed all Expeditions
  • Completed the longest events in the game (Goliath, Colossus, Titan, Marathon, Gauntlet, Juggernaut)
  • Became part of the Horizon Hall of Fame
  • Smashed all Fast Travel boards
  • Found every single Barn Find (three pending restoration)
Guess this means I have to buy the Hotel Castillo house, finish all the Horizon Stories, showcases and races just to really complete FH5 (I'm lazy to smash all the XP boards though).
