Okay, here’s something odd. The Renault 4L shows no body kit is available. But if you go to the conversion tab, it does in fact have a body kit. It’s some nice looking fender flares.

If, while having the body kit installed on your car, you remove the rear bumper, a rally-style roof-mounted spare appears.

This is mostly fine since there are several rally light options for the front bumper. The problem is that the roof-mounted spare only appears after you install the body kit from the conversion menu and then remove the rear bumper from the aero menu. And there is no option I can find to have the fender flares, no rear bumper, and no roof-mounted spare.

One last thing. Look at that bumper. See the hole? It’s for inserting the starter crank like it’s 1913 and you’re driving a Model T.

I have noticed a few cars have body kits in the Conversion category even though there's nothing in the actual Body Kit category itself. Kind of odd.

Looks like you've stumbled onto a pretty good one here with many odd quirks.

It's mine now. And this is, without question, the car with the most apocalyptic combo of outright downforce and grip, and speed, since the original X2010 in GT5. Makes Speed Zones, and probably most Speed Traps, an absolute joke.
I got that car a bit earlier. Get Don Joewon Song’s Max Grip tune for it, it makes it even better. That car will hug pretty tight turns going 150mph+ like glue, it’s stupid insane. That car will take anything you throw at it, as long as you can react fast enough.

Speaking of body kits, worked on a Complete WIP list of kits in the game.

Not sure if I'm missing any, feel free to let me know.

@AlienDeathRay and everyone else trying to figure where all the drift zones are:
Set up the Horizon Rush outpost. It’s the home for PR stunts. That will unlock drift zones, speed zones, speed cameras and danger signs.
Thanks for your help I was able to finally locate it and unlock all the stuff. Initially all the menus are a bit muddled and its difficult to figure out what you need to do, as opposed to what you want to do, and conflicted by what you think you should do.

Are the arcade events broken? Because it seems I'm running all by myself and I haven't won any points! Very frustrating!
I have tried a bunch of them too. I never see anyone participating, But on some of the drift ones, my score doesn't appear to be the only one adding to the total. But judging from the totals of users playing, there should be multiple players participating. Strange...

Alot of people dissappear and then reappear constantly for me in those.

Ha never noticed that it has a hole for the starter crank. If u seen top gear's classic rally car challenge James's Citroën Ami had one too and that was built in 1976! Correct me if I am wrong but I think last car with a starter crank was a 1998 Lada

This is some great info! It should be in a separate (sticky) thread IMO.

Maybe also add the cars with different stances? AMG One race mode and then the Ferrari and McLaren with retractable roofs. I’m sure more will follow in the future.

I just found this, so cool!

Also add cars that now got AWS! Tested a few of those

Nissan 240sx
Nissan skyline r32
And Nissan skyline R31

+The engine sounds are improved across the board, except for one consistent flaw that I will discuss in the negatives. I find this game to be much more rewarding to play than Horizon 4 based on that aspect alone. Some of my favorites to drive now are the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-door, Shelby GT350R, and the new Alpine A110. Basically anything with a V8 or 4-cylinder sounds immensely better and more accurate than they did in Horizon 4. Not all are perfect, including the ones listed above, but man are they so much better.
It’s amazing what the sound can do for immersion and enjoyment huh? ☺️ I’m discovering new “sleeper” gems on a daily basis now. Some of my best immersive moments have been racing in cockpit view with the engine sound blowing loud through my 5.1 home entertainment system. That Hoonigan Escort Cossie V2 is such a car (during rally in the jungle). This morning I discovered 2 other immersive cars, the Ford T6 Rally Raid (cockpit view racing downhill on the dirt trail of the volcano) and the Lambo LM 002 (also cockpit view and rallying in the jungle). Normally I have no sentiment for these cars or wouldn’t even drive them but I recently won them from wheelspins and wanted to give them a go. What a surprise!

And that’s my advice to everyone: drive every car at least once and switch between cockpit and chase cameras. You might enjoy some cars you normally wouldn’t even think about. Also, the garage has this nifty “new” indication for cars you haven‘t touched yet so that comes in handy.

Also, not just the engine sounds are improved, the positional sound and overal sound quality is sooo much better than in FH4 as well.

Many thanks for this info! I was hoping for some more aero options for the 350Z but alas just the Nismo stuff from previous games and the Big Labs wing.

Loving the game so far. Was concerned how it would fare on my One S but the only thing I notice is longer loading times then FH4. It’s not a big issue but sometimes I think the game has frozen as the screen goes black for a few seconds.

First wheelspin- skinny jeans! 😂. Thankfully subsequent spins have netted me a 996 GT3 and the AMG Hammer so it evens the ledger. Got all my loyalty reward cars which is good given I’d seen numerous mentions online of people not getting any or just some. Didn’t drop until after I got my first house though.

Just joined with game pass edition and sat through the intro and the first showcase. How long till I can access weekly playlist? All these characters talking non-stop is so cringey and distracting...
The first 30-40 minutes or so. And yes, it's annoying AF. I don't care about the crappy story excuse for racing, just gimme the map. :)

I still haven’t received my free cars besides the Mclaren senna. Is it their error or am I missing something, this was my first digital Forza game but I’m also gonna pick up the disc version today.

They’ll pop up eventually.

Me: I'll just log on at midnight to do the intro and collect the first 3 achievements for Game Pass...
Also me: it's 4am... must... sleep...

😂
These twelve hour sessions get punishing after the first four days or so.

By the way to the Japanese racer who just gifted me a Willys Jeep... thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤.

Thanks a lot! Looks like I was one story event away from more events available.

Btw, anyone knows how to turn off "rewind notification" which pops up every time I touch anything with my car?

The day started bad. Got eliminated 3 times to purple cars before finding any car drop. Than found a lv5 Bronco R right after the start and made my way to a lv10 Funco F9. A terrible car to drive... it will do the job anyway.
FDwN4MyXEAICk2D

I'm really enjoying this game. Best Horizon game... for me.
