Looks like custom circuit routes are broken too. No matter how many laps you set it to, the race always ends after one lap. Also, the lap counter will display something like 36%/00:00.000 instead of the correct laps. It's frustrating. I'm on PC if this helps any.

Also, the Beetle Forza Edition has AWS too.

I've just checked all cars on the autoshow. My reaction:

I can literally count the cool new cars in one hand.

Glad to see that they're still doing those garbage "having to do something with other people online" things to get the points needed for both Playlist cars.

Hate having to sit through multiple playground events to access them.
You can get enough points for both cars without doing online stuff. I don’t do online stuff and have amassed 27 points to get both cars.

Haven't touched the Blueprint yet but did a 10 lap race today on Xbox.

The only online thing I had to do to get enough points for both playlist cars, was one horizon arcade event. The rest was all solo stuff. I know what you mean though, my internet isn’t the best at times, so some of that stuff can be annoying for me. I usually just end up buying some of the cars from the auction house, if it’s too big of a pain.

The arcade deal isn't working for me in general.

I just hate having to do a three event deal(lets be honest it's best three of five but i'll throw all the games to get them over quickly) with some people who I don't know, nor want to know, nor will ever play with again for part of it.

Quick first impressions on a couple things. I read a comment about the load times on the older consoles; they are sort of long, but seems to depend on what it's loading. Not too bad. Console-wise, I am one of many still looking for a Series X, but this game is still a very pretty game to look at on the One X. There is a desert race you encounter early on that takes place in the early morning after some rain that really shows off the beauty of this game. Sounds so far, are really nice & I do like the work they put into making the exhausts different. Only messed with it on the GR Supra, but I'm hoping they really put the same level of detail in a solid chunk of the other cars. Physics wise, I saw a couple comments reflecting on others not being too thrilled? I don't know, to me, the cars I've driven so far seem to carry more weight than before & feels like the cars are a bit more realistic.

Now, sorry to be negative about this topic, but is anyone else fed up with the AI in FH5 or tired of racing against them?
In FH4, I always played on expert or higher difficulty and was a guy who loved cross country racing and dirt racing.
But now I don't enjoy these offroad circuit races at all.
They are always faster than my car on the straights, and they stick to the surface and turn in any corner on any surface condition.

Yes, if they raced with the same physics as us and without the cheating boost, I wouldn't have complained even if the outcome of the race was the same.
But the whole reason for their speed is these two cheats. It's just not fair, and it's not fun.

I've seen similar comments on the official forum many times. Hopefully they will fix this broken AI boost...

Don't write off the AI inside the first week. Drivatars are always bad out of the gate but should improve quickly over time.

I feel even the rumble effects are quite weak on gamepad and getting no vibration effects on my t300rs, don't enjoy driving with joypad, so games feeling pretty flat using my wheel , hope it's sorted real soon.

I needed to change the final drive of the Bronco R to like 2.95 to make it useable in races.

Ten gears is 4 too many to be dealing with.

I've actually been hearing about this a lot lately, and it definitely seems worse off from FH4 from what I heard. Although, @skazz could be right. Just let them adapt and see if it changes, if not, the Devs will likely step in like last time.

Yep, I usually race on Pro or Unbeatable but I've had to turn it down to Expert to even have a chance on most courses. And even then the difficulty varies wildly from course to course. In my experience the AI tends to be a bit easier on road courses and street races but is absolutely crazy fast on off-road courses.

I’ve noticed this as well.

Same with the endurance races. Goliath wasn't too bad, but had to wait until half of the race to actually get to first with Highly Skilled. Colossus was more tricky with 65% and just did Gauntlet with 40%. Kinda scared to do Titan when I unlock it...

Yeah, in order of difficulty, regardless of level:
1) Offroad (green events)
2) Dirt (orange events)
3) Street (purple events)
4) Racing (blue events)

What I have noticed is that, as fast they accelerate, they have to decelerate, so your best bet is catching them in the corners and bends, because they will brake hard and early.

I finally got points in a Horizon Arcade event. We managed to complete 2 of the 3 events. 1st was a Drift skill, ( not the points ). With 2 or 3 players we got it done fairly quickly. Then drive to the Drift zone, and drive back and forth through the drift zone. I switched to a Drift car, and managed to control it better than in FH4. I came close to getting the 3rd event, but failed. So I secured 20 Forzathon points. I guess I don't have the "Double Forzathon points" perk.
