That and the people that don't seem to realize it's a team effort. I had people on my own team blocking me from preventing scores, ramming me during survival, not healing people or taking crowns during King, it's awful.

Flag camping has sadly been a problem that hasn't been addressed ever. Which is really baffling to me, because it seems like just ghosting a player for two or three seconds when they grab a flag would solve the issue and not put the defending team at any sort of disadvantage unless they're just being total putzes, and then that's their own fault.
As far as people not understanding or caring about the team aspect... well, welcome to online gaming.

I know it's a part of online gaming, but even in most other team games there aren't direct ways to hinder your team. Honestly, ghosting teammates unless they are a survivor or a king with a slowdown would be a solution. I don't mean ghosting for the entire lobby, just those on your team.

Can't you guys just plow into them and push them out of the way? I thought of blocking the flag too, but I can't pull that off alone. One pushes me out, and then others come grab their flags and run. Given that it's a team event, there are advantage and disadvantages to blocking a flag spawn point.... and that comes down to whether the team is able to figure something out.
What ruins the fun is the Lego Mini hiding in the castle crack in Horizon 4. Something like THAT needs a fix.
You got to factor in a whole bunch of other things here. Some people (like myself) may not be in the mood to play and want to get those playground games over with to get the seasonal reward if it speeds up the event duration by enabling losses quicker, I'll do it.
Also maybe someone is letting a friend or family member try the game and they may not have read the instructions or know what to do. I put my dad behind the wheel in this game one time and he has no idea what to do to "play" this game.

It turns out the Treasure Map thingie I bought to facilitate the search of XP and Fast travel boards also messes around with barn finds, it just doesn't give you any notifications and basically opens them all up, all you have to do is drive to them.

I found about 90% of Barn Find.
The surprising emotion I felt there was irritation over an exclusive upgrade that was only had on Barn Find "wreck"models.
For example, the GMC Jimmy "wreck" model is equipped with a wide body kit.
However, there is no option for a wide body kit on this vehicle.
Dodge Viper.
Drag racing style front fender exhausts, different brands and sizes of wheels on the front and rear. And the cowl induction style hood.
None of those customizations are available.
Yes, I understand that these "wreck" models are different models created by appropriating the in-game 3D models.
But would it be so difficult to divert the upgrade parts designed for these wreck models for the actual game models?
I wanted to put a widebody kit on Jimmy, and the cowl induction hood makes the Viper look like a beast on the street.
As cool as these models are, the fact that these are not available is hard... 😭

I never noticed that about the second picture but now I want it too, and we know they can do it because story mode barn find has an FE equivalent. Why couldn't they do the same with the second picture and make an FE with this kit or at least an option?

Especially when in FH3 & FH4, the ratio of barn finds that were new to the game was about 50/50.

My purple circles all disappeared off the map but I got a ton of notifications from the garagistas and radio hosts. I'm just disappointed overall with the first example. Yeah, maybe they couldn't find the owner of a bone stock one who was willing to have it scanned and they had to settle for one with a lift kit and big tires and presumably an engine swap (Why else wouldn't they have modeled the underhood area?), or the pandemic might have made travelling to a stock one to scan it impractical. Fine, whatever.
But to just offer an air dam and spoiler, on an off roader of all things? And only one stock paint color? AND no option to paint the roof separately (let alone remove it)?!
COME. ON.

I finally did the Goliath last night in my completely stock D100 Renault 4L because I'm a masochist like that. I think it took about 28 minutes? I can't remember any more. By that point, everything was starting to blend together. All my dreams are in Horizon Mexico now.

Apparently there's a bug you can exploit in offline races. If you enter a race event with a D class car (say) and use the tune car screen to load an S1 preset before starting the race it doesn't upgrade the drivatars, so they stay in the lower PI class. If it's true then I bet this'll get patched pretty sharpish.
Will try this out next time I play; this could be my only chance to get the Unbeatable Triumph achievement by winning 6 events against Unbeatable AI, lol - at least without using EventLab.

Sorry for another annoying Seasonal Playlist question, but I've tried using an 2015 Audi TT for the Speed Zone, but it's saying incorrect car, despite the restrictions saying an Audi up to S2 998. Also what track toy car do people recommend for the Speed Trap, I have a Caterham with a tune but can't get enough speed out of it.
Finding it a bit frustrating trying to work out what I need to complete all the Playlist stuff as the restrictions don't seem clear enough to me (unless I'm just being an idiot).
