wow! that looks amazing, looks alot like new zealand to be honest lol. am really hoping it's more then just desert, really hoping for a new fujimi kaido in the form of a canyon somewhere.
That screenshot of the water by the mountains has to be a real pic from the live action cinema. There is no way thats in game. At second glance, its clearly a real picture.
Reading some past comments, i'm gaining a little hope again for the physics engine.
The impressions seem to be all over the place. Some journalists claim that it's got the FM4 feel, for example. And you get, of course, the opposing reports. If this game is at the eurogamer event then I will check it out and tell you the results. There are already many people who have played and I recommend you check their impressions. Pretty much all of them say it is not simulation.

Guess we'll have to wait and see. As I said earlier, Inside Sim Racing will undoubtedly test it and that will be what I'll be going by, for the time being. Well, that, and some members around here that I have some faith in, actually
^ That would be what some folks hinted at, at the very least. It would also make the most sense, from a business point of view, as I explained earlier. I'll hold on hope and will be looking out for further information, though![]()
Yeah I got a few laps with the Viper. It's pretty well behaved with all assists off. Did the challenge to open up the Autovista and the only big oops I had was breaking to late at the beginning of the corkscrew on the first lap but after that it was easy going. That car with all assists on must be on rails.

Sounds good.Fulton is quick to stress Horizon does not represent a sidestep in the fundamental feel of a Forza game. The handling has not been overhauled and simplified to suit the new open-world focus.
“Open-world games in the past have been characterised by arcade handling, which is fine,” he says. “But there’s a problem with those games: that all the cars start to feel the same, they start to handle the same. And that doesn’t work for Forza. In Forza, the car is the star. Every car is special.”
“We use exactly the same best-in-class physics and graphics systems that you’ve known and loved in Forza games previously. We have the same unrivalled handling model, which gives all those cars a sense of weight and heft, and believability. We prove, I think, that action racing doesn’t have to compromise on authenticity in order to achieve what we’ve achieved.”
Absolutely. Well, actually, even more so. The premium/standard thing was a lie of omission, to me. But dumbing the physics down for FH would mean that Fulton straight up lied to all of us. That would be beyond despicable, in my opinion. If the physics are in any way inferior then I think a lot of the Faithful won't forgive Fulton. I'd expect GT5 premium/standard levels of anguish.
Well, I still have doubts about the physics engine, but maybe that's just me.
It is based on the same physics engine, yes. We did tweak things to allow for more "stylish" driving, though.
It's based on the Forza 4 engine, again, but with some significant changes.
