EB shows 11/1/06 and EB almost never goes backwards on their dates. Meaning more than likely it will be out after November. The longer they take the better the game will be.

Well I see that Gamespot lists the game as a "TBD" on the release date, 1UP.com has nothing listed either.

But, heres a clue. I was reading the offical Forza 2 website's blog and the author refers to the "next ten weeks to be very interesting." That would place the end of the next ten weeks at the end of October, so I would think the possibility of an early November release date completely acceptable.

November 1st would be the first Wednesday of November, and being that most games come out on Tuesdays, it should technically be October 31st, otherwise known as Halloween. But then there is also Gears of War hitting the shelves two weeks later on November 12th, a Sunday, so it should technically be the 14th.

Its so quite because its way to early to get excited. Release dates get bumped all the time. I would be amazed if Forza 2 actually gets released this year. The longer they take the better the game will be. 👍
I have plenty of games to keep me busy. Plus Test drive unlimited is coming out very soon and that will keep me busy until Forza 2 comes out.

See I wouldnt belive them in a heartbeat. They are also the ones that said the TDU demo 2 was going to be out yesterday the 20th. It never came out. Dont believe what they say on that site. There wont be a Forza demo out this weekend. They spread to many false rumors on that TDU site.

Several MS suits have said Forza 2 will be out by December. But I don't trust men in suits.
Until some screenshots appear, video etc I'm betting on a Q1/Q2 release with a demo in Oct/Nov.

Camaro we did have a post on it in the news section, I think the video is true not so sure about the actual demo but if those titles follow that rumour list for the first couple of days then excitement will ensue. As far as I know Turn 10 have said "by the end of this year" for release and that's it. Nothing official yet anyway.

Wrong one.

Tenebra, who first announced the 2nd demo for August 20th, said it was a target date and subject to change. The Forza 2 Demo along with TDU's 2nd demo is expected during the Gaming Event happening in Germany (I think).

the demo should be out by this week. there is some kind of gamin convention going on in Germeny. i think its coming out on the 26 or somthing like that. i have a list of what is coming out, i just need to find it. theres goin to be a new trailer coming out really soon too. i would believe this since the list said that TDU demo 2 would be comming out the 24 and they anncounced it today .

...Nothing on the offical XBOX.com page, nothing on the offical Forza 2 page, etc. I think we were all a little overly ambitious in our assumptions, and therefore we must wait a while longer before final stuff comes through.

The offical website makes it sound as though production is moving quite smoothly, as "full" multiplayer on Forza 2 is up and running, therefore leading me to belive that the game could be complete very soon, of course, "soon" is a realative term.
