just got a 830hp+ ferrari F50 from the auction house for 300k Had a pretty ugly design(could only make out a couple of head's and ****'s) so i got rid of that, and reverted it back to the stock red and stock bumbers. Ran out of money and can't change the wheel's yet lol. Any sugestions? I can't think of anything that will look good? Also i figured out how to paint your wheel's chrome. It's the silver/grey on the SW side of the octagon thing(the one furthest to the right seems to look best)

sounds like nothing else!!! up to 4500rpm it sounds real deep and throaty, then it get's a bit higher until 6500rpm were it hit's V-TAK and blasts of of schreeching like a banchy to the limiter!!! Only struggles for grip in 1st aswell?

man ive gotten the best of luck on the auction house today.

1st = U999 everything bought F50(total value $509,000) bought for $300,000

2nd = stock porshe 959 bought for $30,000 buyout, had been on there for 4mins lol(lol just had a look an i can sell it back to the game for $102,000)

3rd = U999 diablo GT everything bought but tyres( total value $364,900) bought for $168,000. I was the only person who bidded

man i love the auction house but i don't like hooking then uinhooking my 360 to take it downstairs to the computer room...

*-.Update.-* just sold my devil z and 959 to buy a u999 murcialago, but ny net cut out and i missed it

but i did get a 750hp+ supercharged murcialago instead and my gamerpoints for buying/selling 10 car's in auction house(carbroker).

omg i just got $115,000 in damage on my 330 P4

i was doing the mugella enduro(s class) and was coming in to pit at the end of the 14th lap. I came flying down the enty lane at about 160-170mph(260-275km/h) when i noticed it had a REALLY tight s to slow you down....i had NO time to react

i carried on thinking it would only be about 40k but it wasn't. I still got $240,00+ for having it on full difulculty though.

I can't help but think how much the music sucks while I'm sitting in the paint shop for hours. Gonna have to start making use of custom soundtracks, or better yet, my computer...

Why didn't I think of that before, it would have been nice to see if Turn 10 could out jazz PD in the menu music stakes but they just did usual thing that us gamemakers do and just buy a whole load of licenced tracks instead.

I dunno I was pretty impressed with the artists they got, Bloc party, orbital, The Pinker Tones, Prodigy, Grandaddy, LCD Soundsystem, Chemical Brothers etc etc. Although sometimes you just end up hearing the same song again and again like that Nerd rockstar song and you get sick of it.

Amar you are a genius, the Gran Turismo music suits this game perfectly.

First I started off with the Japanese GT4 soundtrack while I was doing some fine tuning to the suspension of my Shelby GT500.

Then I tried the old EU/US GT1 Soundtrack while doing the iron runoff, it took me back to 1998 and reminded me that Ash - Lose control is an awesome song to race to.

And thats my plymouth something car which is very fun to drive.

Also I did the MX5 race while I was listening to Wipeout 2097/XL soundtrack but I couldn't be arsed to take pictures.

I'm still not impressed with the quality of the photomode in this game, everything seems to end up looking worse than GT4 and it doesn't help that the forza site seems to give all the images horrible jpeg compression for some reason.

Funny how the cars look better in the photos than when playing the game. All the jaggies get nicely cleaned up as it were. At least there's no screen tearing, which makes a change for a 360 game.

I definatley think there's been a craze for rose-tinted glasses recently. I mean I like Forza 2. I'm at level 44 and enjoying it immensely. But it's just not THAT great. It feels a bit rushed, a bit empty and a bit too samey to Forza 1 (it looks too similar to Forza 1 to extinguish that suspicion I have that it's the Forza 1 graphics engine modified for the 360). All that said it's still a solid game and easily worth 8/10. But that's all. Now 8 or 9 more circuits, more cars like the Zonda F and better looking and it'd be a 9.

Anyway, I've done a rather naughty thing and customised a Skyline to look like the pace car in the GT4 licence tests. It's not perfect but it's pretty close. I'll get some pics up soon.

I kinda feel the same but i've never played forza 1, i'm realy enjoying the game I prefer the physics to GT4 and i'm enjoying the customisation options. But I kinda miss the licences mostly, mainly because they pretty much helped you learn the lines for allot of the tracks, I know that you can turn on the racing line on in forza but the licences would help me to learn the correct line for circuits to achive the gold time. Now in forza2 I find that i'm fantastic at all the tracks that are in GT4 (Also silverstione GP circuit) but the ones i'm not familliar with I still find pretty difficult which leads me to missing braking points etc. Running hotlaps on these tracks has improved, but because there is no definite goal to doing it i'm probably not pushing for that extra 10th that I would do if they had a licence test for that circuit.

Thats what i've already done in the photos i've took anyway, still kinda dissapointing when they look worse than the same thing done on a previous gen system. I think the stupid levels of jpg compression is ms trying to save space on their servers, well I guess it makes sense seeing as lots of uncompressed jpgs submitted by millions of people would clog up their servers. But why not just do it the way GT4 did it by just saving them as jpgs for you to remove from the 360 using a usb drive without having them compressed to hell and back?

I can't believe that. The FM2 AH just stole my B&H M3 and Bathurst R32 GTR. I was trying to set them both up for auction, then when it said Transaction Pending, it stuck there, then said it failed to create it, then it went back to my cars, where the BMW and Skyline were gone AND had taken 1,000cr both times.

Turn10 really need to fix this.

EDIT: No worries, must have been a small glitch, because both cars appeared back in the garage and both are now on the AH.

Can't say I'm too fond of the online side. Just been playing a few races and things need putting right. For example someone had chose a circuit that needs a car with good acceleration so I select one. Then the circuit is changed to a high speed one and before I change my car the game starts. A pointless race ensues. PGR3 was/is better I personally feel as is Test Drive. Maybe I'll just stick with making my own custom matches etc.

I think it's a case of needing to race with people you know, so far I havent had a single race against anyone from GTP, I'd love to but I'm not online that much and not many other seem to be while I'm on.

Most of the time it's idiots that get U cars or way over powered cars, go straight into the wall on the first turn, and little ol me in an 86 comes putt putting around the turn in first place. xD

If you want to see the same stupidity look in the AH.

I took a D Class car (Stock 240Z) against two U class cars (Evo and something else) for 3 laps around NY.

They laughed in the beginning, but said "Watch, he'll win anyway"

And I did, after they took themselves out, several times.

But I'm friends with those two guys and I was beating on them all day. Just did it for a laugh.

Happened to me also with a stock GT500. Never got it back.

Here's that GT4 Skyline Pace car I did. Not perfect by a long shot by not too bad for my first serious attempt. I've been racing it online a few times now. Dunno if anybody's said anything though as I have the voice sound very low.

Thanks. It's one of the three I entered for the official photomode contest. I'm pleased I got the LCE now, because that S204 is one of the nicest handling cars I've driven in-game yet.
