I think it's a case of needing to race with people you know, so far I havent had a single race against anyone from GTP, I'd love to but I'm not online that much and not many other seem to be while I'm on.

I think my brother has raced with more GTP'ers than I have, and thats a bit odd...

I do my best to be on at night, but that doesn't always help the folks in Europe. Although, I am occasionally on in the afternoon when it would be ya'alls dinner time...

I had a few races with MistaX and he made fun of my accent, so now I'm not racing against him anymore. :grumpy:

 You're too French! But that isn't the reason you don't want to race with me.

You want to avoid me to keep some sort of win ratio :P

Nice GT-R Slackbladder. Too bad you can't throw a set of lights on it. :)

How many layers?
Thanks.
I'm not too sure how many layers. I guess around 250 on the side and another 100 on the roof/boot/bonnet etc. I could'nt quite make out all the decals on the GT4 Pace car so I kinda' winged it a bit. Still I'm happy with it.
I tried to sell one at Auction for a very reasonable price (80,000 and as a featured auction) but no one was interested! I wonder why?:sly:

Oh man that TVR Tuscan spec manufacturer race is a bit tricky. It's not realy the car but it's just me still not being familiar with the tracks, mostly that Sunset Peninsula Infield Short Reverse. Damn that tracks first corner is realy tricky. Oh well at least the racing line thing is useful to figure out braking points and such but it would feel like cheating if I used it in an actual race.

Ya I accepted your friend request but you are never on when I am.

I raced your bro lol ......

I'd like to race with fellow GTPers too.. Although my cars arent well set up! I mean how come there isnt a Car Set-up guide, yet on the forums here? I am a noob to car tuning. All I do is change the Tyre Pressure, Gear Ratios and Downforce (based on the track and car characterstic combo).
But a thorough tune up guide, as in, what sort of set-up on different tracks with different characterstics of cars (FF, FR, MR etc etc).. I never really touch the camber / toe-in or differential settings or what not, does anybody know what the perfect set-up for Nordschiefe is, in a Mid-engined Rearwheeled drive car? and stuff like that?

Mine arn't either, but then they wern't in GT4 despite all the setup guides out there. I'm not in the know when it comes to the fine tuning, I can improve it over stock settings but nothing great.

Thanks.

i'll give you 150k for one tomorrow?

Disaster struck in my first endurance

I was checking the tires and they seemed to be fine. But I forgot about the fuel and ran out 2/3 into the last lap.

lol same as me, but i ran out out on the 3rd last lap, on leguna seca, it was on the way up to the corkscrew. I still won though.

And the most pointless post of the day award goes too...

I haven't done any endurance races, so I've never had to be concerned with fuel. I might try one later today.

sm ere :D

I have such a busy schedule with so many real life people and work wanting my attention that my time on Forza 2 is kind of limited. So I'm going to wait till I finish Career Mode and feel comfy with the physics and the stupid tire sounds to get on Live, so I don't get a bunch of bad rep for rear ending people. Although at this rate, it might be August. :P

for anyone who said the corvette club races were too hard, I disagree. I did them yesterday with a fully souped up c6 z06 w/ c6r engine with all aids off on hard difficulty w/ sim tires, fuel and damage, and won every one of them easily. i even had an accident on the last corner at Road Atlanta at the end of lap 5 which damaged my engine and steering, and still managed to win by about 4-5 seconds.

Oh man I'm loving all the freezing that was going on while racing online... ! Thanks M$

I did have fun using my M$ wheel though. :)

"I would play right now but kids stink"

That's what I got out of that.

Hmm... oh yeah, that was Friday and I was drunk.

And no... I don't know what the hell that says.

I won with a low S class Grand Sport. I don't think it was even over 600hp. All other mods though.

Ok now i'm kinda pissed off.

I just spent a good hour picking out lots of photos from replays with me and MistaX racing. I upload them all to the website, but what do I find? well their system only allows you to have 5 photos at once, oh thanks for letting me waste my time taking about 30 and then only allowing for the last 5 you uploaded to be displayed.

God damnit some aspects of this game are realy irritating sometimes.

Well here are the 3 photos that I was able to get from one of the races. I was the skyline and John was the NSX, it was all very Jdm and a very good battle.

Also here is my R390 which I have been working on, I tried to replicate the classic Red white blue nissan colour scheme seen on some skylines and the R90 cars. It's not 100% accurate and not that great, but i'm not very good at these things anyway.

I'm not going to be HELLA RACIN' for a while, not till atleast saturday, maybe later.

Also Brett did you get a mic yet noone wants to play with you and you are too quiet.

Race the 5 at a time is to keep bandwidth and load stable and it's not a big deal tbh as you upload 5 save the 5 to pc and repeat. Also if you have taken those pics then you can upload them again, you haven't lost them unless you just kept overwriting the same file.

Goto main menu > options > view photos > select photo and press "Y" to upload.

Simple !

Nice pics btw, I like your R390 also.

I just didn't realise you could only have 5 photos at a time, so I kept overwriting the same photo and then just uploading them all to the site. This would have been a whole load simpler if they had just allowed you to do it the GT4 way and you wouldn't have to worry about server load or having to compress the crap out of the photos to save server space.
