I went to a club with friends last night and when I got home tried to drive FM2. I did a couple races that included the ring and I think I did better than when I'm sober.:ill:

Needless to say I got 2 and 3rd in both races.

I just made a kick ass buy!

Won a MC12 for $11,944! :D

Hate to burst your bubble but you can win it.

I'm not that far yet, though, and I'd rather not wait to mess around with it in the paint shop. ;) :)

Besides, it's still a good deal considering what other MC12s are on the auction house and that it's worth $250K in-game.

Every GTP member I've ever raced against has the same problem:

None of you know how to deal with pressure. Brett being the worst. If I'm behind you... you don't have to late brake for every turn, wind up going off and letting me beat you.

Plus once I know you have this weakness I will drive on your bumper till you screw up.

Awesome. At what times do you play?

MistaX, I believe that's due to us all knowing each other, and we feel if we brake early, one of us will run into the other causing a flame fest here.
But that's my opinion on it.

I though, will give room if you're on the inside of me, but since I drive with the braking line on, if it tells me to brake early, then I will.
I made the mistake last night of braking late with Duck and Perfect. I had snatched the lead, and hit the brakes a tad late going into the first turns.

Pro. For whatever reason I've always been 23-24, and never get any higher no matter what.

I've been playing all day today..

I'm playing on my brother's account (I ran out of Gold), GT = Lycorda. I'll be online in an hour or so.

I love doing that.

I can handle pressure as long as I'm in 1st place. If I'm in second or third, and the guy behind me is coming up, I always break for some reason. When I'm behind, I'm trying to catch up and shake off the guy behind me at the same time. It's just too much for me.

But man, the feeling is so great when you've driven for the past 3 minutes on somebodys bumper on the 'ring, and then they spin and you fly by laughing into the mic.

I'll have to try to track him down next time I have access to a 360, FM2, and Live...
There is someone called Wolfee, I thought it was you at first, but he kind of sucked so I changed my mind.

I'm definitly getting better though, I rarely get under a podium finish, and when I do, it's always because somebody hit me somewhere else in the race.

I'm actually quite proud of myself considering I've only had the game for 5 days or so.

Haven't had a go with FM2 on Live yet, but one of my favorite things to do when someone was tailing me in PGR2/PGR3 was to swing way wide while braking for a sharp corner, and then brake extra hard. Almost every single time, the idiot(s) behind me would take that as an invitation to dive for the inside, brake late, and then slam into the wall, allowing me to tuck in behind them and retake the lead.

Thanks, I appreciate the confidence in my abilities. :)

As you could probably tell I don't actually have a 360 myself. So I'd be playing under one of my friends' names -- most likely SlickDizzy. I would like to play with you chaps, though.

I got screwed over when I attempted to pass that ZR-1. It took me forever to catch back up.

That 512TR doesn't work well on the 'Ring, so you won't see me racing it there again :)

Me and Duck were noticeably faster than most with it on the 'Ring, but I hit the brakes late, and the game put Duck at the back.

With my setup the suspension is too stiff to handle the Nur bumps, and hitting a rumble strip sends it sideways. It's a really good B700 car, just not for Nur.

I find any car that hits a Nurb. curb likes to go sideways. They're not right, imho.

Tbh I do that against the computer as well and anyway I beat you about the same amount of times that you did.
