Blame Microsoft not Turn 10 for that, they don't want you doing anything that could compromise security and yes I agree with you that they should just allow a Save to Device option.

Yeah it's just kinda strange that the 360 allows you to put jpegs onto a usb stick and view them in the dashboard. But the photos saved to the 360's hdd dont turn into jpegs untill you upload them.

Oh well i'll just have to save more of them, it just takes allot longer that way I guess.

I just didn't realise you could only have 5 photos at a time, so I kept overwriting the same photo and then just uploading them all to the site. This would have been a whole load simpler if they had just allowed you to do it the GT4 way and you wouldn't have to worry about server load or having to compress the crap out of the photos to save server space.

Besides, you'd have to buy their product to even do it.

Hello everyone! We are now, going to allow our customers to know use a jump drive in the next update for your enjoyment. And even though we know you're just jumping to use your curret drive, we must tell you it only works with our new Xbox 360 jump drive.

Yes, we could have let you use a pre-existing one, but...well, we just wouldn't make any money off that. Sorry(?) for the "inconvience".

Ok i'm dumb as hell because I do have a headset, I just never looked for it when I got my xbox and I didn't realise that it came with the premium pack.

but, still a better option for those of us who do not have xbl because there is broadband isnt available and xbl doesnt work with wireless isps.

Haha! I remember that. My coworker, BigDChamps, was actually at work playing. He was on the phone, and couldn't drive.
 
Chur, i tried a few Live races and got booted out of a couple pretty much, because our broadband is back down to 56k (does that when we go over the 10GB limit). And MistaX was away all the time. :D

But yeah, even though i never got to do a proper race on Live, i'm hooked. So in a few days time when our net is back up to full speed keep an eye out for me (Mangosaurus).

you should see me and skyline obsession, were from NZ and your on most of the time i'm on, but im usually just uploading some pics and seeing what's in the auction house.
 
Anyone know how the True Skills rating works? It's the one during career racing online in multiplayer. Ex. right now I'm at Pro (20)

I want to know what factors into moving up and down.

Hotlap times have something to do with it, but I don't know what.


If you beat higher ranked people, your ranking goes up a lot.
If you beat lower ranked people, your ranking goes up but not as much.

If you lose to higher ranked people, your ranking goes down but not that much.
If you lose to lower ranked people, your ranking takes a nose dive.
 
for some reason, my 360 has had a vendetta on my FM2 disk ever since I got it. For many times, it has come up with the message "To play this disk, insert it into an XBOX 360", and also it has shown up that the disk is unreadable when clearly there are no scratches.

Now, my 360 has decided to scratch a big ring in the middle of my disk, and now when i go to play the game, the console makes a few noises and then it just says "Open Tray" on the dashboard.

So does this now mean I'm gonna have to fork out another £45 just for another disk?
 
Go complain to Microsoft. There's a high chance that they will replace the console and might give you another game... but don't expect it back in a hurry.

I'd rather you not try and see if it does it with any other games you have, in fear that it scratches those too...
 
Normal, mine seems to do it every other night. On those night it's about every 5-10 min. :dunce:

I have a theory it's a conspiracy... They randomly make your system freeze so you have to restart FM2 and watch the intro over and over. Then it stops freezing so you don't get sick of it and when you finally forgotten about it, it starts all over again. :dopey:

Take it back to where you got it and ask for another copy. It's M$'s fault. I'm on my 2nd copy.

That is probably the funniest message I've heard. "To read the disc that you just inserted into your Xbox 360 disc drive, please insert it into your Xbox 360 disc drive."
 
Sorry i exited out of that Murcialago race MistaX, i noticed that all the other cars were juttering about all over the place and crashing when in fact that wasn't happening, our internet connection - even though it is back to full speed now, is obviously too slow.

I won't be upgrading to Live Gold now when my free trial runs out.

I hate Telecom!!!
 
Before you over-react, on your 360 dashboard test your network settings, particularly the NAT. If the NAT is closed, then you should open the ports on your router.


That was a room full of guys in the US, so that could've played a part in it.

(But I've played with Vasco in a room with people from the US and he didn't have much of a problem IIRC)


To be honest I thought you left due to everyone driving like crap, because they were.

I think the guys were just better this time around and then everybody went for the Elise/Exige.

The first race, I got tapped a little since I braked for the first corner, but I was OK. I don't really know the braking points for Silverstone. Second race, I messed up a couple times. I was last and then I passed two guys on the last lap, but the host crashed me out. The third race, I thought it was the long version and crashed into the wall. I joined the game after I finished the maple valley endurance.

So I guess that's my story.
