Bogie I've watched the video four times now with my speakers turned up.
Ok, so what do you want me to do? Our opinions differ. I guess I don't understand what you want from me.

Wow I think I missed the boat, we get a demo on the 24th! That's going to be awesome, I think I'm most jonesed about having the JCW Cooper in the demo.
One would never know with the birthday wish under your name
Or the car I drive .
I've been to a few drag days here in Dallas, & I've never seen a car's front end just lift like that. But, I will wait for further judgement because in the trailer, it does go into a "Slow-Mo" directly after launch. That Challenger wheelie looks awful, the front end just floats up.
I'm going to be ordering the Limited Edition version of this, I didn't realise it was available in the UK until I saw it in Gamestation for pre order today. 👍
It isn't.Nope..surely sounds like a V-10, which it is:

"Imbued with the Viper's 8.4L V10 producing 600 horsepower"
It isn't.
The car in the video has the SRT8's lip on the trunk that says SRT8 on it. That alone tells us its not a SRT10. There's also the missing Viper logo on the shaker.
It can sound like whatever it wants. It could be a stock V8, swapped V10, or either engine modified beyond the limits. The car must be fabricated then. It sounds like the video I posted which has the 10 in it.

Who cares?
I'm the last person who won't talk about inaccuracy. I'm labeled a GT fanboy at FC just because I point out the errors in Turn10's modeling.Who cares? I thought we were just making discussion.
Sorry, I won't discuss cars and accuracy any longer.
The shaker on the SRT10 Challenger has Viper on it, the in-game car doesn't.Perfect. Then we can carry on
The wheels are also not accurate for the SRT 10 either. So the question is, did T10 screw up? Because that is the shaker from the SRT 10 Challenger concept. The SRT8 doesn't come standard with any shaker.
FUN FACT: The entire intro video with the Challenger taking off at the end was captured in-game and not during replay. Basically, we detached the camera from the back of the car in 3rd person view and scripted it to do flybys and choreographed moves. These are essentially in-game graphics with no added AA, etc. We had considered doing a CG rendered intro video but felt confident that the game looked good enough to just do it all in-game in real-time.
Glad you guys enjoyed it. For those of you who are into avatars, we have pics of awesome Forza gear going up on FM.net shortly with our Gone Gold article.

Mate, all it is, is a modified SRT8 Challenger with mods obviously inspired by the SRT10. Doesn't necessarily mean the SRT10 Challenger isn't in, but the car in the trailer is a SRT8; you can see the logo on the car's boot lip.
Wow, that video was awesome - hope the game does'nt dissapoint. I've bought an Xbox last week for this game and finally got to play Forza 2.
Forza 2's sound and livery editor were great however the cartoonish graphics, over-emphasized physics, arcade-ish menu screens and boring replays( no single car time trial replays too:tdown, meant that i stopped playing it already!
Forza 3 seems to deal with some of those issues. The menu screens seem to be more like GT (classy, mature) and the graphics seems realistic enough( although actual gameplay videos don't seem to be as realistic). Hope the physics and replay issues are delt with.
Most of all i hope i would'nt be regretting my xbox purchuse
ive had FM3:LE on pre order since the 15th of july it was a toss up between this and DiRT 2.
Looks like my wish is dead.I hope they sell those as a whole pack & not as independent items. 👎
So, about a $1-4 range.[UPDATE Sept. 11th]

GT5 is better than Forza 2, GT4 was about on a par with Forza 2.
So you know what a Ford GT or Viper SRT-10 drives like....I respect your opinion, but GT4 physics was pure arcade far from even PGR4.
GT5 Prologue is much better than GT4 except it doesn't look like game calculate tire physics and traction at all due to pretty weird cars behavior at limit. And many car in game drive nowhere near their real life counterparts, so cars don't feel authentic.
Fun game focused on presentation, variety of events and challenging driving experience. Simulator? I don't think so
