So it is more realistic, even if it is easier to control the cars. have I got that part right?
It seems strange that a more realistic model would be easier to control.
I'm, like you, using the 360's pad and I've got to the point where I'm constantly flicking the stick left and right to retain control around tricky corners. The sensation is lovely when you get to the edge of control, especially when you know that in 0.4 seconds the back end is going to trip out and you correct it before it can even happen.
I love those type of experiences.
Still, it troubles me Forza 3 is easier to control than Forza 2.
Have never said that about any driving sim, let alone GT5.Wow, you really believe GT5P is a real driving simulator?
Not a single one that I have even come across, they all have pros and cons, but none get it right, nor do I actually believe they ever will.Anyway you made a good point, though in any other racing simulator game things are very different, but are they perfect? Nobody knows
Here in the UK on a public road that would pretty much get you an automatic ban.Too sad I can't hit 200 km/h and check cause paid 250$ speed ticket already two weeks ago. Not more than one per month, this is my motto
I actually feel the need to check the following now, seeing as the website is indefinite in it's answer.
Can I use this,
http://www.fanatec.de/webshop/new_e...id=72&osCsid=8c5c432e11fa6c4ba612c7e3b77a3804
on the 360 with the G25 pedals?
For those who own a Fanatec wheel, how is it in terms of quality of construction and quality of feedback when playing a game, compared to the G25?
I'm trying to assess whether it's worth the £150 it's gonna cost for the privilege of playing Forza 3 with a wheel, and whether I would ever use the Fanatec in preference to the G25 wheel unit when playing GT5?
New York vid, looks like a 1 up from F2
In case if somebody has X360 Arcade: Forza 3, Exploring Disc 2

What are you going to miss
Yay, they added the chicanes that you could see in the track map to the actual track.
New York might actually get used this time around.
annoying filter used on the F3 video. Looks like they did the object removal mod on the Shift.
Highly recommended plus the grip removal patch when you are done with the career mode

What? Steering assist? When you play with a control pad, the game is much much easier due to the steering assist imposed.
What is up with Forza's interior modelling on racecars? It looks like they were an after thought. All the interiors on road cars look awesome. I mean it's not the end of the world but I just find the inconsistencies odd.
And the Amalfi coast track.Nurburgring and Fujimi Kaidois on disc 2. Look like its a must to buy a HDD.
29 tracks and 104 cars at 1.9GB of HDD space
Here's a video of some of the missing tracks..

I've just been posting some times in the Mini, and was surprised that it suffers with lift off oversteer when on the limit which I don't remember from FM2..
The more I play it, the more I like it, their is a slight tendancy with the cars in the demo to be a little more forgiving them perhaps ideal for pure simulation, but the whole experience is excellent..
I may have to invest in a Fanatec Wheel as it should give this game the same depth as GT5p with the G25..
What? Steering assist?
FYI I switch all assists off so where is this steering assist coming from?
I used the Mini extensively online for FM2 in either B or A class (so it was making nearly 400hp. weighting about 2100lbs, and kicking all kinds of ass) and no, I don't really remember the oversteer that you experience in FM3. When you'd lift the throttle in FM2 the front would bite much more, but the rear never got very unsettled (well, mine would sometimes, but a full race suspension is different than a stock JCW). Then again, in FM3 the Mini is usually getting loose in that 80-100mph section in the first part of the lap, so you're going up and over crests, unsettling the car even more.
Right so it's pretty much like GT5P and Race Pro's option to adjust the speed steering sensitivity...or is it more like Ferrari/Supercar Challenge where the car adjusts whatever the situation? It is not optional.
Look at the telemetry when you race.
The wheel in the bottem left shows how much steering lock the game is using.
When you go faster the amount of lock used is lower
...and when you are oversteering you get alot more lock (no matter what speed) to help correct the car.
sorry but compared to GT5 those pictures are laughable
I will agree that GT5 has better graphics, but I wouldn't say that they are laughable compared to GT5.
It's also flame baiting and has been debated out a million times before, can we carry on please?
Is that Evo showing racing modifications or a race car?
Dan Greenawalt : "Forza 3 is the best looking racing game on any console!" @ E3
When that claim isn't true (especially for a game released 2 years ago in GT5) .. It is quite laughable

Flame baiting will get you nowhere. 👎
Given by what you've put in your gamertag section of your profile, you're a fanboy who is not welcome in this topic.
I'm not flamebaiting.. I wasn't even the first to say it was laughable.. Mark T simply thought otherwise and I told him why people think it is laughable. not flame baiting.
MY gametag is as such because I've had 2 xbox360's RROD on me and I refuse to ever buy another xbox ever again. I don't even have a PS3 yet.
I am a fan of GT though and I admit that.. sorry for being so on a GT fansite :S
