I just read something really cool. Apparently it's possible to place the RS200 engine in the Ford Fiesta and change the drive train to awd. I've also heard that the RS200 engine can be placed in the Focus RS.

Forza 3, you are now my favourite yet-to-be-released game. :D

I have to admit, Dan does look like he's in a bad mood or something. From the look on his face I'm figuring he's "thinking" something like this: "You had better say everything I told you to, or, I will beat what little bit of hair you have left off of your head."

I don't like the part when he says "it's easy to drive", around the end...
But overall, I already believe it's going to be an awesome game. 👍

I just saw this, sorry if you saw it before. Pretty interesting. But why do the cars look so funny? I mean plain ugly even and so dark, you can see it in the replay towards the end. Is it the HDR and hardware impotence, or is it the hands of developer? Ok so maybe Polyphony Digital has some fancy new technologies that maybe Microsoft doesn't, but even in NFS Shift cars look yummy. Forza 3 is... not yummy at all.

There is something CG about the showroom cars, and it is quite cheeky of T10 to use Prologue's same style, and evidently even the same view sequence - sorry Bogie, but others can have other opinions than yours, and have valid reasons for them. And it seems that the car models aren't done from scratch, just fixed, so the Silvia still looks fat for example. The race cars do look yummy to me, but I love pouring over those liveries to see what the graphic designers have done. Once again, this is an area in which Forza 2 looks a little better in some ways, because that smidgin less detail doesn't poke you in the eye with the "CGness" of it. Even then, the graphics are still nice, and I'm looking forward to seeing what the improvements are in the livery shop. I'm working on a couple of Ferrari F40 liveries, and I can admire these graphics for half an hour at a time.

As for the Nurburgring and elevation changes, the F2 Nurb wasn't all that remarkable to me compared to the GT4 version, looked the same elevation wise, so we'll see. Sure wasn't accurate though.

I have been reading a whole lot on what Forza 3 has to offer. It seems like Forza fans will have absolutely NO reason to be disappointed with all the stuff I've been reading on this game. Maybe I sound too confident, but this looks to be an amazing game that only improves where Forza 2 left off.

Except that exhaust note doesn't change with exhaust upgrades, auto revving, and no wheelies.

To be honest though, I'm still picking up my LCE copy on the release date. I'm mean look, it has the IROC-Z and a Fox, that alone should be worth the $80 hehe.

Goddamn, I truly hate Dan's personality. I want to buy an xbox for F3, but I have a problem with knowing what type of persons developed this game. It's an impossible situation for me, since I am a man of values. I think I have no choice though, as I know I will have loads of fun with friends.

I hope that once I see the game I can look past the ugliness of things.

You know most people who work in the world of business are d-bags right? Even GT Fanboy's lord and saviour Kaz is pretty cocky. It shouldn't affect how good or bad a game is.

I think you meant shouldn't affect how good or bad a game is?

I've never had a problem with what Dan has said in any of his interviews. You can't expect the guy to downplay his own work, can you? It might come off as being macho, or cocky, or whatever the case may be but put yourself in his shoes - try to be "honest" about every little detail of your game: "You know, we may not be as good as the competition but I think we've done a good job..." and see how little attention you get.

People like confidence, no matter how it's perceived.

The day Forza or Gran Turismo get wheelies will be the day I will be gamer happy.
Forza 2 had the settings to manipulate a wheelie. In fact, I think Camaroboy was the one who did so.
Can anyone on here give me some tips to tune my lambo reventon for better handling?
How would we know? None of us here have review copies, nor downloaded it.

I don't want to "manipulate" settings to make a wheelie. As long as you mean manipulate as in GT4, where only certain race cars would do wheelies. I want them to come out "naturally".

You should try watching the intro video for the FM3 demo...

If we can make them higher than that, then I'm happy indeed. :D

I don't like how you dont see the driver's hand move to shift gears. OMG THIS GAME SUCKS.

Sarcastic, much? :P

EDIT: What kind of a word is "sarcastic"? What kind of a word is "word"?

Oops. Sorry.

It is kind of dumb they couldnt add that animation. I was playing Dirt 2 all day so it was irritating when I switched to Forza

Pfft, cockpit view. Bumper cam is where it's at! We were playing it yesterday at a friends place on his 46" LCD with it's gaming 100hz mode on, and the sense of speed in the Porsche barreling down the first set of S bends was just immense! Also, the lurch as the camera dips under breaks was great. Not as obvious as shift, but the Parkinson's-afflicted Shift camera gives me headaches.

I know, I was miffed about that, too. But hey, at least they tried. For some odd reason, though, they just couldn't get the hands from clipping through the steering wheel.

Sarcastic is an adjective, word is a noun.

Not their parts of speech, I'm more than aware of that.

I mean, what kinds of words are they? It's an extremely broad question.

Put that philosophical hat on! And I've realized I've hi-jacked this thread.

Here is a what looks like a custom livery on the Audi A4 Touring Car (Blank), that XBOX Front did on their car. Almost didn't see it as custom.

:)

Yes you have hijacked this thread. Save the philosophy for another discussion.

;)

Exhaust note changed with every level of exhaust in FM2. Why do you think it won't in FM3? I think intakes made a change in sound too. Auto revving?

How does a 100hz set have any effect on a game running 60fps (60hz)?
