I ordered through Game with 1 working day delivery. It was dispatched early this morning so I'm hoping for delivery tomorrow.

Mine has been dispatched today from Shopto.net, and the text message said that due to my extra £1.99 payment it should be here tomorrow! :D

Mies been dispatched too, LCE £39.99 from Blockbuster. I'm looking forwards to tomorrow :dopey:.

It probably won't arrive tomorrow now I've said that, it was dispatched this morning so here's hoping.

If it arrives tomorrow are you guys risking playing it?

No, actually it doesn't. This is a problem inherent with the physics modeling in all three Forzas. They will rear back and kneel a bit, but there's almost no lateral shifting whatsoever. It's like every car behaves laterally as if it has a rock hard racing suspension.

I think you are very much wrong on this fact..

Just getting the telemetry up in FM2/3 shows the suspension travel, and it very much does body roll...

In a replay in the FM3 demo of the Mini Cooper, using a close camera you can see the extent of the suspension moving left to right, it's quite pronounced..

What can I say, sounds like you are hating on the game for hating it's sake..

Shame really, the reviews are pretty much proving it's worth..

I really hate..and I mean HATE all you guys in Europe getting this game before me...in America. God damn it...America is supposed to have it ALL..and the BEST...and...FIRST! :)

Damn right I am. I'll watch the Champions league first though, priorities and all that. I'm going to have to try and get at least a little involved in the online with this one. I'm looking forwards to buying logo's on thie own and being able to create great desings with thoes. I was limited bit in Forza 1 and 2, I still made some good looking cars, but nothing that could touch the better painters. Although I'm more interested in sponsor logos and the type that make a car look authentic but can take a while to do because there can be so many of them to do.

For those that do get it early don't worry about being punished for playing online early. There is an article over Eurogamer stating that only people playing with illegitimate copies of the game will be banned.

One more week and I can pick up my Limited Edition and comence with some motor swaps. I think that is what I am looking forward the most. I guess that and blasting down the Molsone (SP?) straight in LaStarthe in cockpit view.

Just read on FM.net that some have got it today and playing so we should be safe tomorrow. And remember, United is on at 5:30 unless you mean the later matches as well. I'm in the south manchester/stockport area.

Yeah it's United I'm watching. I'll knock off work early, get home for 5, grab a bite to eat, grab a beer. Match, win (I hope), Forza 3. In that order.

Because you asked:
Mulsanne and Curcuit de la Sarthe.

I just got an email from UKMail saying they will be delivering it tomorrow! :D I've come down with some nasty bug today too so I'm hoping to have the day off work so I can be in when it arrives.

Even if it arrives I might not be playing it much tomorrow if at all now, knowing me I'll probably throw away an hour of my sleep even though I know I shouldn't.

Are the unlockable cars any good? Or do you get stuck with something useless a lot of the time?
Not sure what you mean TBR. All cars are unlocked from the beginning, you just can't afford to buy most of them. You can drive them all in free play though. Did you mean the cars gifted at each level?

I think he means the cars you get gifted as you progress through the game. Personally I don't want to know what I'm going to get yet, I want to try and be suprised, that said it'll b a right pain if I buy a car to get the next level and then I win the car I just bought.

Yes those.

Are they useful, for the next level or whatever, or are they going to be something you 'could have used 15 minutes ago'?

Not sure, honestly. I saw Jube3 unlock the Reventon, which he then saw as an opportunity to race it at a Ferrari vs. Lamborghini event.

Really, I think it depends on what races are unlocked after a certain level, and whether you want to buy a certain car to win "Race A" or wait to see if you unlock that car later & then come back to said race.

Given that Forza loves to have very specific races, such as Evo vs Sti, Asian B-Class or V12 shootout, etc etc, gifted cars are usually useful for at least something. Also, I believe you get the Veyron gifted at lvl 30. As McLaren said, the Reventon is also gifted at some stage. Given the much higher costs of things in Forza 3 (from what we've seen), I suspect getting gifted cars will be quite handy.

Friday seems so far away right now..

Some people in Australia have already got their copes from online retailers so people are badgering JB HiFi and EB Games to break the street date before Friday seeing as though retail copies of the game are starting to get out and about. Fingers crossed something happens.

Can someone with the game tell us which cars are available from the start (are you limited to a few to start with, like the last two games have done with the regional selection?). And the 2006+ Civic Si - how much is it and how much money do you start with?

Thanks for the vid. However, I will say something looks unrealistic about the cars. Perhaps it feels great but they don't look convincing to me.

You start with no money. 0cr. First car to you is a gift, and you get to choose from 6 (or 7) different rust buckets.

All cars are unlocked from the beginning.

Wheres your house, im coming to steal it! :P
