It's Wednesday (in my part of the world anyway :P)

Fingers crossed the Lotus Carlton is confirmed today, and maybe more BTCC Cars.

Or even RUF, Come on Turn 10, I know Porsche are due in somepoint but it be moody to get rid of RUF when they were available when Porsche weren't

Either way, role on later today.

I'm predicting a Japanese theme this week.

Man if this week is a Japanese theme... I'd be so happy!!! Either way, we still have 50 new to Forza cars. Regardless of theme, there will be a lot new cars to come, which is awesome :)

It won’t be long until the cars we are announcing in this week eight of the Forza Garage will be at your fingertips to collect, race, and customize in Forza Motorsport 6. Without a doubt when September 10 comes around these rides are going to see some serious track time.

Racing wouldn’t be racing without race cars so this week the Forza Garage brings you some of the greatest race cars from many genres of motorsport.

We are entering the last couple weeks of our car announcements and with that comes many a special car (and truck) that you may not have seen coming, so give this week’s list a good once over for the full impact of what you will soon be experiencing on track.

Now let’s take a look at the week eight spotlight cars.

1969 Nissan #21 Nissan Racing R382

Despite showing its potential with a race win at the 1968 Japanese Grand Prix, the Nissan R381 chassis was scrapped for the ’69 season. The new R382 was to be built from the ground up, utilizing utilize Nissan’s first V12 engine – the GRX-3 – which was built by Prince Motor Company. The new chassis featured an integrated rear wing to comply with FIA regulations and an opening in the tail to provide extra downforce while cooling the 600 hp V12. The massive engine was fed air through an equally-massive intake on top of the motor. Although Porsche was dominating world endurance racing with their 917Ks, the R382 took the top two podium spots on home turf at the Japanese Grand Prix – a full lap ahead of its nearest competitor.

1993 Peugeot #3 Peugeot Talbot Sport 905 EVO 1C

Some of the greatest names in French industry and motorsport contributed to the development of the 905: for example, Dassault Aviation helped develop the carbon fiber monocoque, and Jean Todt (a former rally co-driver) brought experience from the long and successful motorsports program of Talbot to form Peugeot’s own motorsport division, Peugeot Talbot Sport. The car itself is highly innovative, being similar in construction to an F1 car but clothed in closed bodywork, and powered by a unique V10. The engine was developed to meet both WSC regulations but also to be used in a future F1 car (the unsuccessful Peugeot-powered McLaren), sporting an unusual 80-degree bank angle and no turbochargers, but making 640 horsepower out of just 3.5 liters. This “EVO 1C” model is an update to the original car, featuring significantly revised bodywork and a distinctive “biplane” rear wing. The update was wildly successful, as EVOs swept the podium in 1993 ahead of the very quick Toyota TS010 GT-ONE—this particular #3 car was the overall winner. Peugeot, quite satisfied with the result, withdrew to pursue an ultimately unsuccessful F1 program, letting the 905 go out on a high note.

Haha you beat me to it!
I am sooooo happy to see one of Dan Gurney's AAR in this game, and a 512BB/LM, and the 905, and the A45 (more spec racing!), and the Nissan...I'm just very happy to see all of these race cars! It's also nice to see the Noble back from FM4!

This car list is too much.

This list, man. It's not even done yet and it's already the best car list of any game ever.
Seriously just dang. I was already happy with the car list a long time ago and it just keeps getting better. I am also very happy to see there have been very few duplicated cars.

Anyway there are too much duplicates cars in this game for my taste.
Do we need both BMW V12 LMR (#15 & #16)?
Can't we just have one model with different liveries (paint)...
Same goes for the other duplicates
T10 is using this ****** trick to up the car count
16 is the Jenny Holzer art car.

I also don't like duplicates, but it is not too bad overall. Hopefully it doesn't get too crazy for F7 in their attempt to reach 650-700 cars.

Mother of car lists... seriously, Turn 10 is dropping so many bombshells right now, it's turning into a relentless carpet bombing! And I like it.

I don't think there are many duplicates at all. Sure the race cars could be seen as duplicates but (correct me if I'm wrong, please), there is a thing about licensing liveried cars that forces them to made separate.

The number of '67 F1 cars present in the game makes me hopeful for the Ferrari 312/67 and the Cooper T86 to join the car roster in the next weeks too.

(Also, there's no way there won't be a 935 in the 2016 Porsche Pack with the number of Group 5 cars that are finding their way in Forza)

Ooo goody more BTCC yummyness. I 5hink we might see the RAR Audi or WSR BMWs based on what they have gone for so far. I think the MG cars might not appear. Maybe the Yuasa Honda? Either way, amazing list.

Yep, just had a Forza overload.:drool:

Race cars I haven't even heard of like the V12 Nissan and the Eagle are making the list.

The 205 T16 is back so Peugeot isn't getting the short stick this time.

The Carlton's back, the Escalade is back, the LM 002, R390, Cosmo...

Ok, I need to regroup mentally before I have a complete overload. :D:lol:

Pretty much sure there are like two more Forza Garage weeks to show off some more new cars before the week they release the game (for those who pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition), so expect even cooler cars for two more weeks.

Great reveal. An eclectic selection of cars, mostly race cars. It's nice to see some 360 carryovers as well, such as the SC300, Bentley Speed 8, and the Group C Peugeot.
