Are we 100% sure we saw the 300ZX IMSA, or do we think we did and it's now our yeti?

I'm not 100% convince it is what everyone wants to think it is. From the moment people "discovered" it on FC.com, BADNED has refused to add it to his list for whatever reason. I'm guessing it's a car that ended up being cut if it is the IMSA 300ZX, or it's coming later on in DLC, and can't be confirmed just yet.

I'd be disappointed with something that crazy. The four-rotor swap is pretty much useless as far as I'm concerned. I'd just like more same-make swaps available like in the FM4 days, really.

Yep. As much as I'd love to see that car in a modern game, I imagine it was simply a coincidence that the image matched as well as it did.

I should probably take back some of the criticism that it isn't the 300ZX, but there's got to be a good reason we haven't seen more hints of it. Are there any IMSA cars of the same era or anything else with Stillen on the banner?

So with all the launch cars + F&F cars we are looking at what 470+ cars? T10 is already slapping PD around with GT6 having 474 premiums, the gap will only widen going forward.

Man the variety is just awesome in this car list. I can't wait to not only try all the new to forza cars, but all of the Horizon 2 exclusive cars to see how they handle in Forza Motorsport!

Judging from the previous Forza Games, every bodies first Car/Track is going to be the Ford GT '2017 on the Brazilian Rio Di Janero track.

Forza 5 began with you driving the McLaren P1 on Prague

Horizon 2 saw you driving The Lamborghini Hurican to the Festival Hub.

So yeah, the poster car is usually the very first car you drive

It wasn't simply coincidence that the images matched. The reason why so many people were basically confirming that car is because T10 went to Adam Carolla's private collection to scan this and many other cars.

This is confirmed on his Carcast - right at the end (about 58 minutes in - http://carcastblog.adamcarolla.com/726/) where they talk about scanning Adam's classic race cars and his vintage Lambos (400 GT 2+2 anyone? ). It's no coincidence when we look at Adams collection that we find sitting there: A 300ZX IMSA GTO. Thats why it made so much sense to me, atleast.

Will we see the car at launch as a part of a Free Launch Bonus Pack ala FH2? I'd hope so - but the more likely case is DLC, which doesn't hurt me as I (and I'm sure many of you guys do too) have the car pass.

I was more meaning what personal car/track combo - rather than what the game would give you. I'm thinking Ford Zakspeed Capri around Brands Hatch in the wet. It's gonna be awesome!

So these 10 cars ARE the last cars to be revealed in the standard game since day one DLC and F&F are optional and so not all players will experience them unless they've bought the Deluxe or Ultimate Editions?

I'm a bit surprised that they got the GTD Audi R8 and not the GT3 version, but maybe it is a hint of one of the Porsches (GT America or whatever it is they use in GTD). Just a thought (sorry if it's already been said).

The GT class they have in the Tudor United Sportscar Championship.
I think it's the same, or similar to, the GT class in Rolex Grand-Am prior to the merger.
It slots in below GT3. They have GTLM as well but that is GTE-spec cars (basically).

*GT Daytona is what it stands for, apparently.

I'm mainly interested in race cars, to me that's a very nice car list, if all those cars are available from the start in free play mode and I'm able to setup custom races offline from the start I'll have to get myself a X1 + FM6.
