I was determined to set a faster time with my wheel, so I ran a few laps tonight and got down to a 1:38.9xx. While I'm happy I improved my time with the wheel, I'm not proud that I had to turn on TCS in order to do it.
I might have another .400 or .500 left out there, but that's about it for me.

I'm pretty slow on catching on to things sometimes, I just now realized if you mess that first turn up, you can rewind to before the starting line, and try again. Instead of running an entire dirty lap, like I've done a few times now...

Just got a 1:38.106. Getting closer and closer! Screw Trition, I wanna beat Lukas!
BTW if you want to try my tune (it's a modified Lukas' tune, with some different parts and tweaks) look for my gamertag- Chmielinski.

, good luck catching me and hope to see you in the 37s soon 👍.I think I'm giving this a break for a couple of days, 2 1/2 days of occasional running is about as much as I can muster before I can no longer laugh off the mistakes and start getting frustrated, coming back with a fresh mind is always a nice bonus as well.

I have a feeling Tritons time will end up being very fast, it doesn't seem like it took him much effort to get the one he has now.

damn... i'm light years away from the time.... i'm at 1:45-ish (or 42' cant remember lol) the thing is i'm 100% sure i'm not under the 40'

Lol me too can't beat 1:46 but I don't have a decent tune, don't know where to get one. 1:46 - 1:48 is where my time is. I always seem to screw up the first corner and not judge the two corners after the long stretch very well.
My car starts to slide round the first corner, and round the 3rd corner to the long straight. Uh-huh
I'm using auto aswell, and rewind was turned off and I had traction and everything on. Maybe I'll try racing manual again with no aids. I guess you can get faster times with a wheel than a controller.

It's definitely a strange turn to get a good exit speed out of. I brake late and stay wide till I can see the apex, then cut left and floor it up the hill. Just use as much of the track as you possibly can. Oh, and ignore the recommended line for that turn, it's absolute rubbish.

Something weird has happened. So I downloaded Lionel e46 tune, set my gearing to manual, enabled aids and rewind. I was able to beat symo my nearest rival with a 1:42. All down to manual gearing. I beat my rivals 1:46, with a 1:42. But I'm still registering on leaderboard with a 1:47:862, even though I finished the race. Why? When I start the race again I'm having to race the same rival to beat his 1:46 time? Why didn't my 1:42 register? OT what an I doing wrong? I don't get what is going on?
Edit: just beat him but with 1:45, I swear I was getting 1:42's. This game is weird sometimes, it didn't accept 1:42 time.

Good to see these events back. Gave me a reason to boot the one backup and get back into Forza, don't know if much has changed in recent updates but game feels alot nicer then it did when it first came out imo.

I downloaded the tune ImaRobot was using and beat Triton's time. I doubt Triton will continue improving his time as it's already really high up on the leaderboard compared to previous community bounties. Also I'd prefer not to lug that boat around Brands Hatch anymore.

He said he's going to post a new time after midnight on February 12th, he also said that it only took him a run of 6 laps to get the time he has now, and the time he had before only took one lap. I guess it was a dirty lap. Before downloading Lionel e46 tune, I had auto gears and all aids on, rewind off, and simulation steering was on. I was making 1:49 - 1:52.
Then after downloading his tune, setting manual gearing, all aids still on turned rewind on, set sim steering to normal, tcm and stm on. Now I'm making 1:46 time easily enough.
I'll try without aids.I think changing sim to normal definitely helped bit I feel what helped more usage manual gearing. I was able to catch symo last rivals ghost and overtake easily by running my gears for longer. Also I feel keeping the wraith in 3rd for most corners helps a lot.

Yeah I still have a long way to go. Got a 1.43.7, still need massive improvement. lol

And here I am still having problems on the last four corners even when I am ahead of Tritions ghost. However everytime he is behind me him around 70% of the track it is always those last four corners. Because if I have too much speed, then it results in me going off.
But when it comes to the same corners at a lower speed pretty much everytime his ghost overtakes me.

Yeah, I might be able to push it to a low 1:39, but I severely doubt my chances of any 1:38's. I'll have to revisit it again after he sets his new time, I imagine.

Even my headset has just been slammed down onto the desk since my latest lap that was going well ended in anger.

I'm down to 1:40:633, I found a Decent tune that I like a lot. I think I can get in the 139's with it.
That being said I'm so burnt out on the track and car, I'm having trouble getting motivation to go back in. Plus I have a feeling his times he will set will end up being at least mid 1:38's, and I don't think I will be able to get that high without hours upon hours of trying.
The only time I shift into second gear is on turn 2, I find I'm faster there shifting down.

I did 30 more laps with a controller yesterday and only managed to take off a fraction of time. I get split times that would get me down to about 1:38.4xx, but just throw it away lap after lap. I'll probably just stick with the 1:38.940 for now and wait to see how much he improves his time. I have a feeling that I'll have to put in some more laps though.

The headset is used for my gaming audio since my the display I use to play on the Xbox One or PS4 is made by Dell. And well as you know quite a few Dell displays have never come with any built in speakers.Why would you be wearing a headset for hotlapping?
If you aren't yet, I'd recommend running @Im_Lukas' tune, and never shifting down into second gear. It's very agreeable, and smoothness is utterly key in this thing, since it can't make up any time it might lose with speed.
