Both series are some of my favourite games of all time, I started out hiring a PS1 (before it was called a PSOne) for the weekend to play GT1, before eventually saving enough money to buy my own console. When GT2 came out I imported a US copy, which has lead to "My Favourite Game" by the Cardigans being a permanent fixture on my main Spotify playlist. Had to skip GT3 and GT4 as I could never afford a PS2 at the time, but back on PS3 and PS4 and played each entry since.I think this thread is not that toxic, there is much worse on facebook pages and youtube videos, but i think it goes both ways, no matter if its gran turismo fans or forza fans, you rarely see many people like both, if you like both or prefer the other their is no reason to hate on the other
But thats mostly how it goes down, when forza motorsport releases it will be toxic i can promise that, i dont see why that has to happen each time, i prefer gran turismo but also love forza, forza motorsport releasing is good thing becouse that could make gran turismo to do better and vice versa, but if only one major title is out there is no need to push it, its buisness after all,
FM had a great period between FM2 and FM4 on the 360, especially before GT5 came out and it had no competition, and I certainly feel like XSX has been missing something not having FM yet, so it'll be nice when it releases and us simracers can enjoy a great game on whatever platform we choose
