If you dont want to spend 5k, you can dedicate some time to make the feedback vote about update the car models and tell all your friends and people you know to vote about it.
you only need a Xbox Live account, you know, the same you use to play Forza anyway

Voted 👍
Not that it's the end of the world, for me, but if people don't highlight the issue, we can hardly complain if it's never resolved.

Do we know if the drafting works in FMnot8? I've been rerunning some FM7 to gather up some remaining cars and it does ruin the immersion a bit when you line up behind a car ready to overtake and... nothing happens

Ulp, why all those new Caddy’s and BMWs but none of the FH5 new Audis?

We got a whole lot of 2020+ stuff over the last year, like the 5 cylinder RS3 and the new RS6 with that neat body kit…

It looks like the Audi gain 4 tenths on the kalaymi start finish line

But we don't have an updated R8. That's the problem.

My thoughts so far: The list is good, but already cutting the VE-gen GTS is pretty bad. Also glad to see that the Q60 concept has been bypassed (for now that is), giving us hope that we will eventually get a production model as we now have the older Infinitis from FM7.

Already cutting the E39 is a worse situation now, since that is arguably one of the most iconic BMWs.

I'm just happy to see they haven't deleted all the lower spec options for cars. Like the Camaro, we get the ZL1 1LE, the regular ZL1, and the SS. Although really if they would just make the 1LE aero package installable parts on the ZL1 like we could do with the C63 Black Series in the previous games, we wouldn't need the 1LE as a separate model. It's good to see the SS though, it has so much more build flexibility than the ZL1.

Also the Xpeng might make a fun touring car, and the MG6 is back in road car form so we can hope for the TCR model too, as it's one of the few TCR cars that is actually kinda unique and not seen everywhere around the world.

I was playing with the Porsche 917lh in Forza Horizon 5 and wanted to see if it looked any better in FM2023. I noticed that the headlights are indeed better, especially the glass shaders is much much improved. Even the reflections on the fresnel parts of the glass is realistic compared to flat texture in older games. This was something that Gran turismo games always rendered perfectly. Also the paint decals are a lot sharper even in that compressed ofscreen footage.

Maybe, maybe not, but the new oval will be the same thing. Plus, Daytona hosts two of the biggest races in the USA- you really think it's not showing up eventually?
People forgot that Forza has parternship with IMSA and Daytona 24, its litteraly on their page

I am not saying that is wrong to complaing, What i am saying is that there has places and moments to complain
They had done the feedback forums exactly beacuse they wanted a area for people voice their opinions about the state of game and what should be fixed

Its not T10 fault the most people that use there are asking for new cars instead of fix the old models, the feedback area have like a year by now and they talk about the forums as much as possible in their webpage and social medias

Today the number of votes to fix the models raised a bit from 17 to 26, but still is a far cry from 1000+ votes to newest car models

Infiniti Q50S
I had been craving for the Skyline version show up in the game, people had been voting for it but still far away from top 10, it has 110 votes right now

My guess is it will he held back and released in either Janurary for the 24 or February for the 500. It would be a pretty good way to release more hypercar/GTP cars or NASCAR cars if they manage to negotiate a deal in time (likely would be Gen. 6 cars).

there has still 3 tracks left, and i am sure Daytona will be one of the 3 lefts, it would also make the game have the same number of oval tracks vs FM7, 3 Ovals
I think the one that will be skipped and comeback as upgrade track will be Watings Glen beacuse the track has a sponsorship contract with Sony
Road Atlanta i think it will be in game beacuse game will come out on same weekend as Petit LeMans
Sebring i think it will be in game beacuse its a traditional FM track

They have had IMSA partnerships over the years, it doesn't necessarily mean much. If I remember right they started the IMSA partnership for FM2 but basically nothing changed, and even years later it's not like we have had the full IMSA track list or current cars or anything.
Isnt this concept a track-ready version of Q60 with better peformance over the stock model tho? its named after Spa after all
You are thinking of the Q50 Eau Rouge, not the Q60 coupe. Both are concept versions in Forza though and the Q50 ER is AWD and 500+ HP, so it starts in A-class and isn't really that useful. Having a base model would likely allow it in C-class even, and one could always turbo/AWD swap it if they wanted to replicate the ER version.

In the case of the Q60, it's forced onto really big wheels and has a big glass roof, and I believe also has kinda inflated performance over what a regular production model has.

Personally, for concepts I really only want to see the ones that are race car concepts or cars that never made it to production like the Cadillac Cien or Chrysler ME Four-Twelve. If the car was actually produced, just give us the production version, preferably with aftermarket body options that the concepts never get as well.

it had not mattered much before 2016, but after 2016 IMSA/NASCAR (it belonged to ISC before that) had brough the track and usually they put the track as bonus rights for people that have IMSA, this why Daytona started to suddenly show up in any game last decade

If the car was actually produced, just give us the production version, preferably with aftermarket body options that the concepts never get as well.
If the concept is a peformance version and is working, sometimes i prefer the concept over the production model

Might be possible since I think some example concepts of the ME-412 were produced that could move under their own power; it's just a matter of finding one of those these days that is the problem.

Maybe not. The car was seen on display at the Walter P. Chrysler museum until the FCA closed it & converted the museum into office space. The car & the rest of collection seem to remain in their possession, probably just sitting in their basement. The Cien @Morbid65 mentioned is now at the Peterson.

Ugh, the Xpeng is easily the worst car in FH5, it'll probably the same here. Boring.

I also hope the FH4/FH5 wheel offset adjustments are coming to this game because there's no way I'm driving stuff like the 323ti with battleship fitment again.

One thing I noted;

The 2008 BMW M3 and 2014 BMW M4 Coupe seemingly have been removed in favor of the 2010 BMW M3 GTS and 2016 BMW M4 GTS

Fine, but please port the customization over from the 08 M3 and the 14 M4 Coupe to the newer models, especially the 08 M3. That has multiple wide-bodies in FH5 and I'd hate to see them not ported since the model has been removed.

They started the partnership after the launch of FM7. The original announcement can’t be reached anymore, but here is a wiki article about it
They partnered with ALMS multiple times previously, which was run by IMSA before NASCAR purchased it and merged it with GARRA to form the current IMSA iteration. If one wants to be pedantic then I guess they could say "but now it's a new entity" which is true and I'm sure new deals had to be reached, but the original point was more that previously announced partnerships with premier American road racing series didn't amount to much, therefore we should keep expectations in check this time around.

Pretty sure the partnership started with FM2 though, that amounted to basically nothing more than some FM2 demos being playable at various ALMS events and a few cars in DLC packs. For sure they partnered up for FM4 though with a bit bigger announcement, and FM6 also featured multiple times in IMSA promotional material and little segments during races. One of the titles was also ALMS/IMSAs partner for virtual onboard laps when introducing tracks at the beginning of broadcasts (at the tracks they had in the game anyway), but I can't remember what season it was for.

It's slow and heavy and not very interesting to drive.
Agree generally, but I feel like with some slicks, weight reduction and aero it might be an interesting electric touring car, since we don't have a Tesla or something to use instead.

Then again electric cars in general rarely feel very engaging to drive, so maybe I'm just being too optimistic.
