I have a lot of unpleasant things to say regarding the marketing for this game. These track reveals are one of them. It looks like it is made for Tiktok, but with zero effort in camera work and terrible audio mixing.

Another problem is that the cars are wayy too clean in these trailers, making them look like someone microwaved them with the plastic wrap on.
Look at how gritty FM7 looked:

You dont even need the cars to be dirty, just be creative like these:

Ideally, as it is a motorsport game, each track reveal should have been a full hotlap with racecars or a full grid race from a single division cut down to 1 minute.
The camera work is awful, not to mention that there's always a yellow tinge in these videos, while the game itself looks bright and colourful during gameplay:

They should get the guys from PGG to do these short trailers because the ones they have been doing for seasonal cars are phenomenal:

The front lights and front radiator grille look a bit strange

The grille and lights could had been customized, had nobody may had noticied it UNTIL NOW?
It looks like it is made for Tiktok
Likely it was a ad made for internet, clearly looks that

You are comparing 90 sec trailers with 30 ad spots, made to be simply ads, trailers and ads are like apples and oranges in marketing speak

The only ad i had saw in your list was the FM7 one and that was 90% live action in a track that isnt even in the game, i wrote it in hurry before lunch so i dont know if had others

But the Forza Youtube Complaniner culture really ruined a lot of fun that the fanbase had, with the feedback forums i would assume it would die out a bit but still contnues...

The one that gets me is always the "Oh look at this small detail, literally unplayable" I mean it's a meme at this point, yet its still wheeled out all the time. We can't have intelligent discourse when people talk in absolutes, it just leads to everyone defending outlandish positions

Sorry but the marketing for Forza Motorsport is really poor, they treat this game like a AA release.
read my comment again, please

you are comparing trailers with a TV Spot, different ways to promote the game

Yea exactly, people keep looking in unecessary things where the great things doesnt get the attention they deseve

Thats false gt7 dosent have any bad car models gt7 trumps forza in this aspect more accurate car models like they always has been forza has more detailed tracks, the evo in the trailer look bad and inaccurate
Just curious, what on the Evo is inaccurate?

I don't think the Evo's model is poor, it's just that awful color dragging it down, particularly in the darker setting. Would've looked better had they chosen any of the standard factory paint colors IMO.

Also, the TME front fascia will likely be available as an option as it has been in previous Forzas, for those who aren't fans of the pudgy front end.

As someone who spends just as much time in photomode as I do in game, it is somewhat disappointing. Not the end of the world for me whatsoever though. You can work magic in certain conditions for these cars, but the taillight/headlight illlumination and modeling for all these older cars does leave a lot to be desired.

I would love this. It was my go to car for A-class and it did extremely well. It was a very balanced car. Did better than I was expecting actually.
I tend to take the lazy route and try to hide the faults of legacy models, from afar they look okay for the most part but when you take lots of photos of them, the issues really stick out.

There are a lot of great things that i want to know and see. It's a shame they're avoiding showcases of raw gameplay.
Why not show the dynamic time and weather in action, in an uncut 10 min video?
Why not do a supercut of the rubbering in system as well as the drying lines?
Why not show a full career race (from picking a car to end of race screen, including practice and its objectives)?
Why not show the corner mastery system for 5 mins?
Why not show the car XP system and its unlocks?
Why not show the garage and its options?
Why not show a free play race with all of its options?
Why not show a full featured multiplayer race (as well as open class multiplayer) from qualifying to end of race?
Why not showcase more of the penalty system?
Why not showcase the big RT implementations?
Why not have someone with competitive wheel experience drive for a bit on the new physics?
Why not talk about future updates and dlc structure?
Why not show more AI races?
Why not talk about planned features?
What about answering the enormous pile of questions (over 200) gathering dust on the Forza Forums in the Community Questions thread?

The unfortunate part is that the Forza Horizon 5 pre launch livestreams titled "Let's GO!" did exactly this, with live gameplay (some prerecorded), questions, all new and old features. I thought FM was also being treated the same way. Regardless of what people thought of the game at launch, the hype surrounding it was insane, despite FH4 being called the worst FH game (which happens to every FH).

FM feels like a sidenote in Forza Monthly most of the time. All these feature lists (some of which even I compiled) and its been barely shown. As hyped as I am for the game, this last year of marketing has been awful.

Sorry but the marketing for Forza Motorsport is really poor, they treat this game like a AA release.

It's one thing if you don't like the way the game's being marketed and there definitely are problems with FM's marketing, but can we stop using bond ratings or pretend they mean anything? Genuinely and sincerely, this is the most pointless and tiresome definition imaginable for a video game. It's okay to just stick to calling it a major release.

preview going out to youtubers

I remember the good old days on the Forza Official Forums where the top posters and creators (Motorsport 2/3/4) era, would never say a bad word about Forza or question Turn10's design choices, in the hope that they would get an early copy.

Reminds me of this Forum sometimes.

What these track videos should be compared to are similar ones from other games, here's one I personally worked on for F1. I lead capture/production on about 15 of these last year (with our cinematic expert providing the out-of-car shots and our audio lead giving the video some punch).

These "micro beats" shouldn't be compared to the big all-star quality Reveal/Launch trailers, production time for those is usually several months whereas these track videos can often be turned around in less than 2 weeks.

Interesting. I see plenty of criticism here, just constructive rather than purely complaining or sensationalism.

There's certainly nobody on their best behaviour or anything, just being adult about it. Simracers who like having choice and appreciate each game for what it does rather than moaning about what it doesn't do. After all, no game is perfect.

it will be intresting, probally we will see what we need to see on last days, probally full car and track list very soon

Also Car list was updated

EDIT: i used a line counter and it said we have 344 cars, so likely we have between 156-206 cars left to be announced

Where did you see these announcements?

Well there go all those comments that Daytona would definitely be in. But still, 8 US tracks is roughly as expected.
Apparently Lime Rock and Homestead meet the needs of the builder's cup better?

I'm happy about Watkins Glen, it's one of the best US circuits for pure racing with those flowing lines and plenty of sharp corners.

Yeah, but they have laser scan data from those tracks so hopefully we will see them again.

Besides, Mid Ohio is actually a fun track to drive, and it's hardly been in any sims. Looking forward to it.
Edit: Mid Ohio has some great elevation changes and some blind corners, really interesting track

You forgot the ring. But what I see is what I expected: They cut relatively more non-US tracks in order to keep the US track count relatively high. As expected given how Forza Motorsport has always had a much bigger US track representation than any of the European or Asian sims.

Did someone preemptively update the page? Feel like they must've had track reveals lined up for these 3 only for them to just appear in the list

You and your team had done a great work on those, the only point i want to note is that it looked a bit too flashy in the first video and people with photosensivities may have trouble watchinb the video

But the rest looks really great
I could honestly replace Eagle Rock with another track
I Know not many people like oval racing, but oval racing is really popular, is no wonder that devs had put ovals even in GT7
but really sucks to see Bathurst, Monza, Brands Hatch not make the launch of FM2023.
The city tracks i kinda felt they would dropped anyways, Mt. Panorama, Monza and Brands probally will come back but they were put on launch beacuse they want make people get used to new multiplayer system, and both have HUGE problematic corners (Mt Panorama i think it is the entire course lmao, Monza is the the infamous first S, Brands is the Druids corner)

of your list, i think that Daytona, Sebring and Road Atlanta will be in the game
