The Toyota Trueno is finally on the list! (Too bad the model will most likely be from FM3).
I'm really hoping for a Toyota GT86. I know the BRZ is confirmed and that it's essentially the same car, but I like the 86 better

With the hatches of today, we are in 462 cars, making 38-88 cars left
Likely we will see the final car list monday, cars that dont fit on other classes and that will be in the game will be shown on final list instead
I just hope any type of NASCAR will be in the final list, even if is the Gen 4 Monte Carlo, Fusion and Charger that was used in FM3 and FM4

The Corrado is listed twice, which is probably erroneous. I’m hoping they meant to post the R32 between the EP Civic and Mk1 Focus, because I can’t think of any other 2003-4 models that fit the theming…

Based on the fact Alfa has now been confirmed, this could be the first Forza game in a long time that doesnt need a whole brand added back to the franchise because of "licensing issues"

The R32 GTR is model is shocking, unless they remodel it I honestly don’t think turn10 should add it, It will stick out like a sore thumb. Maybe I’m bias as I used to own an r32 GTR (see display pic) but I’d honestly rather not have it than have that thing (referring to the model) in the game

The past few months have been filled with things that T10 doesn't normally do, like being more transparent with us and such. Perhaps they'll do yet another thing that isn't normal for them and work on/rescan a few of the very old models throughout FM's lifespan. As cautiously optimistic as I have been, I do have to admit they have been doing better at communicating things lately.

Theres a ton of cars within those divisions listed which makes me believe they cut a lot more cars then i thought. Lets say there are about 50ish cars left to reveal 4 of those divisions alone would take up 50 spots.

Honestly it’s smart, if the manufacturers okay the model (or have no objections to having them now and changing it later), then it gives them time to work on the new to FM models right away. Since this one’s supposed to be a “long life” game, they will have more time in the future to update the bad ones (and hopefully add other custom parts)!

I'm really nervous about the Corrado and EP3 Civic coming back again. Both of these models are very old models.

A track creator would do wonders for Forza Motorsport 8, especially if it had a lot of elements from Horizon's event lab?

Yup. Car pass exclusive, but fun car. It's probably more accurately described as a 2017 car but maybe they specifically wanted MY 2021.

I'm worried this is going to happen with the GT3 cars we have. We got a bunch of old 2017-ish versions as "new" models, and the cynical part of me is expecting to see a few evo models added in as paid DLC...
If we don't though, I'm sure the disappointingly large portion of the sim racing community that has a raging hard on for GT3 cars will be complaining about it constantly.
Yeah, I hate how they are all AWD. If they put in the FWD versions we could just swap them to AWD if we wanted to build our own faux R, but sadly we can't FWD swap AWD cars... In previous titles anyways. Would be a welcome change for FM8.

They already are begging for more GT3 cars also for WEC Hypercars even if Motorsport Games seems to have the excluvity of the series
I undestand their concern tho, NASCAR seems that will also be missing for quite some time thanks to exclusivity, i wish the Gen 4 cars that were in FM3 and FM4 would show up again, but that seems that is also seems unlikely, inless they show up in the final (circa) 50 cars

I fear it may not show up after the mess that was the Auction House in FH5
Also cars will be in career mode anyways
