Do you mean you dont like the idea to upgrading cars, or is it just forza system you dont like,
The Forza system specifically.

Even if you have fast internet the stream maybe stable but the input lag is well behind compared to actually playing on a console that's plugged into the tv, playing a fighting/racing or FPS competitively & you've got no chance, (you maybe ok with single player) I hated it. Slow paced games like sea of thieves or fun party games or rpgs are ok. I can stream through my tv or pc when playing with the kids like this while the wife watches tv, but when it comes to online racing then she gets booted out the living room
I'm unlikely to race much online (GT7 has been a major exception to the rule) so having it work for single player would be fine. I did ok in the multiplayer events on FH4 and FH5 whilst streaming - won some eliminators and tours, so it is possible to compete that way.

I'm very sensitive to input lag, I can feel the difference between game mode on/off when racing. I tried it once but just couldn't adapt. Also no support for keyboard/mouse/wheel while streaming.

I wonder how much the premium add on bundle will be.. I'm hoping it will be like FH5's at about £30. They've got my money if so. At this point I don't care about not owning the game, I've got 3 years of GP so all good.

Aren't you referring to this?

There's also this.

Can someone help me out?
I've never owned a Forza before. I'm looking at the Base Game and The Premium and trying to figure something out. You have a Race Day car pack and a Car Pass pack. Are these cars obtainable through the base game as it is? Are these packs just a way to buy cars with real money instead of using in game credits? Are these cars only obtainable through buying these packs and aren't available in the base game? I'm confused how this works and searching on the interwebs gives you everything but the answer. lol
I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it to spend 30 extra dollars for content that would supposedly be available to acquire in the game anyways. Or you can't acquire it at all without the passes.
It’s a new game so who knows if they changed, but usually these cars aren’t available otherwise. You’ll only have access to them with real money.
This is the case with FH5,the extra cars are unobtainable in game unless you have the dlc car pack.If you try to buy them via the auction house it opens up a window to buy the dlc pack.To be honest, for me personally,a lot of the cars in the car pack add on were not really exciting.

I was watching AR12's summary video, and he said that he asked a whole bunch of questions to the developers after the showcase, and while they weren't allowed to announce anything concrete he mentioned that Forza on PC has been doing great for a while now, so they spent extra time on PC peripherals for FM(8).

So you are probably right that exact peripherals and quality of support will come in September, but it sounds at least as though they are taking PC peripherals more seriously than ever.
Hope so, all their talk of physics needs good FFB to back it up.

Normally wheel details are confirmed very late in development as QA need to test every single one to see if they work properly.

Most games will reveal a supported wheel list of around 30-50 wheels, and if a wheel isn’t natively supported you might still be able to plug it in and set all the buttons manually.

Anyone willing to bet that they will still show off more cars and potentially tracks we haven't seen yet in the upcoming Forza Monthly?

One thing to think about with tomorrow’s Forza Monthly is that it’s a show for all of Forza, so don’t expect a Starfield deep dive.

They’ll likely be covering Horizon news, have a community spotlight segment etc.

I’d be pleased if we got 15 minutes of solid Motorsport discussion, with 5 of that being new gameplay footage.

I just realised that I hope T10 will realistically model the energy deployment systems of the hybrid race cars and allow us to have manual control of using the hybrid power.

According to Turn 10, their focus will be touching on the new Builders Cup Career Mode. This is what they said:

"We’ll properly introduce you to this single-player car building experience, including a full walkthrough with actual gameplay in our next Forza Monthly livestream on Tuesday, June 13 at 11:00am PDT / 6:00pm UTC following the Xbox Games Showcase Extended. We’ll see you there!"

Just pre-ordered the Premium! Playing 5 days EARLY!!!

Someone pointed this out to me.

I dont see the connection too much and this is probably just a coincidence but, the menu seems to be simplified like FM4:

The upgrade menu seems to be in the Void™ :

I'll have to have a run through it but I like the look of the UI as far as we've seen- of course that's always been a strong point of the series, some I've liked more than others for sure but there really hasn't been an epically bad one. The rest I guess is just wait and see. I would like the upgrade path to be rethought and a bit more realistic, Forza has always embraced the hot rod culture and I want it to stay that way- I just don't want race suspension to put literally the same components under every car, including, apparently, changing everything with a solid axle to IRS. I've ranted enough about other things like the tire model, either they improve things or they don't I guess, we'll find out in October.

If they do happen to show up for the extended showcase, I'm thinking it's just gonna be a rehash of what we see on the monthly stream, or vice versa. I've forgotten which one comes first.
