You don't need to register, and you need only participate in either the League or Rivals events to receive a Falcon or Escort.

So if I raced in both and didn't get top %50 in the leagues I'll still get the Falcon when they close?

Missed the Rival Qualifier in the Mustang at Monza/Nurburgring, can I still take part in the next one??

Correct. The Falcon is a participation award for racing and finishing one league race, regardless of finishing position. Top 50% is for the Car Pass prize.

Edit: Apparently AR12 got the Escort gifted to him today, before everyone else, because he's a "valuable community member" according to Dragnet. Ugh. I hate AR12 with a passion. :grumpy:

I'm suprised how little racing I've had to do to stay in the top 50% for this long. Got up to 45% at the end of Monday with just over 5,000 points but since then I've actually went up to the top 42% (without doing any more races) by Tuesday and now I'm still at 42%.

Well, think about it: his videos (quality content or not) are getting decent numbers of views. Thus, he was given the vehicles early to "generate hype" for the FRC, which is basically free advertising for T10. Although, I still agree that he wouldn't be my first choice if it were my decision (why not give them out to some of the other "Forzatubers" like FailRace or Raceboy?), that's who T10 decided to partner up with.

I finished 464 out of 2100 in the S1W1 League and earned 49k credits. Pretty chuffed with that for six or seven races.

For competing in the ForzaRC S1W1 League Ranked Play event and placing 1,808 oit of 3,582 racers, you have earned 36,765CR credits!

Pretty annoyed given how much I did race. Does division effect it? I'm in Elite.

I got 22k credits for my league races. Needed to deliberately stay out of the top 50% as I already have all the Car Pass DLC. Also in Elite Division.

I don't think it does. Even though I won almost every race I was in, I'm still in the Grassroots division and I ended up getting 970k for being in 81st.

I don't even now what division I'm in. I couldn't see anything obvious stating which it was.

So, if I completely missed the fact I had to sign up for ESL for the open league and only signed up today, would. I still be able to get this weeks DLC reward?

So the week 2 qualifier is up.

Formula Ford at Catalunya GP.

My best after 6 laps:

Huh? Did it change that much from FM5? Used to be one of my go to cars.
It's incredibly loose. Throttle control is an absolute MUST with this thing. Thank the Ecoboost engine combined with the pencil-thin tires. :indiff:
I'll admit, I turned TCS on. Makes it a boatload easier to drive, of course. I'm pretty certain that the top guys in this lobby I'm in are using it too, judging by the bogging down of the engine and no wheelspin. :P

Yeah, the FF is not great to drive. It takes a lot of driver control and precision to be able to drive it kind of smoothly. Take that and put it around Catalunya (a track I'm not very fond of) and that makes this weeks time trial isn't very fun.

Gave up on the time trial at a 1:59.519. Went to the leagues, and Jesus Christing Hell on buttered 🤬 toast it was bad. Absolutely nobody could drive this blasted thing without spinning, crashing or ramming each other. Up into the top 59% after a few chaotic races.

Just did 10 laps, all of them dirty. As soon as you apply any power through a turn the car understeers off the track, and if you turn without any power the back end loses traction and you lose all of your momentum. My best lap was a 1:55.2xx. If I could get through that left sweeper (turn 3) without going off/losing all my momentum then I'd have a good lap. It's so difficult to drive this car, even with traction control! I'll give the leagues a try tonight, but I'm not looking forward to it.

Hopefully next week in the GTLM will be better...
