It might not be better, I don't know I haven't played the final build. But from the info I've gathered on Forza and what I know about the game it appeals to me more than GT4, but GT4 rocks and I won't be supprised if Forza isn't a better overall game but I expect it to be a damn fine effort either way.

That's cool forza is more appealing to you. gt for me has been a game series were I just enjoy driving the cars on the tracks and tuning this and that to get better performance. I really dont need all the bells and wistles, maybe I'm just old school like that, simple ole gt is for me, plus gt4 looks more realistic than forza and I'm a sucker for realistic visuals

I was making a point, we can't judge Forza yet because no-ones played a recent build or anything near the full game, but on paper Forza is better than GT4 in thoes areas. Read the following posts, don't play dumb either since others, Cobra included understood what I was getting at.

As far as I know, GT4 lets you tune your car any way you want as well. As for the body kits, GT4 has always presented different versions of a car so I don not have to buy a body kit...which you wouldn't race with anyway in real life.
In real life the driver does not get to pick sponsors and "decals."
Improved physics...GT is the benchmark for physics (c'mon, spout off some more about GTR or GP Legends) and Forza's are IMPROVED OVER WHAT? their last demo?
How can the tuning POSSIBLY be any deeper than GT? huh?
Pushing more poly's doesn't make a good game...we already decided that it's the artwork that counts.
I think you're worried that Forza's single player will suck...too tough for you? too easy? maybe the AI is just stupid or uncompetitive? and don't forget to renew your XBox Live...

Everything I've said has been either fact or my opinion, don't go on the offensive trying to say I have no credibility just because you dissagree you arrogant prick. As for GT4, if you knew about cars and what gets adjusted on a race car you'd know very well that GT only offers a very small level of tuning and setting comapred to real life.
Ofcourse all I'm saying is Forza shows promise, if I said anything different it would imply I'v played the final build of the game, at least Forza WILL includee what it says will be in. And GT4 is only the benchmark for console racers, and you can pretend all you want that GT4 is the god of driving simulation, but as good as it is bettered by GTR.

You can change tyre pressures, you can alter the air fuel ratio theos are confirmed, besides the settings theres more parts you change on your car, you can even change engines on certain cars. I have never professed to be fantastic at setting up cars and I've never said I am a race driver and that has nothing to do with Forza vs GT4. You sound like a schoolboy trying to provoke me, but I don't think your really 27 either I think your still at school because your ability to think logically is non-existent.

Hope Forza has tons of championships like GT4 as well, rather than the pathetic handful Sega GT had.
Not bothered about the online aspect. I had xbox live for a year and gave it up. Most of the people online who I raced against were total retards with the exception of the odd few and even the AI provided more of a challenge and a cleaner drive!
I did add a few respectable racers to my "buddies" list but even then it was difficult arranging times when all were available for a decent race.
And as for the headphones - all they served to do was enable me to hear the wallies who insisted that chanting "cha boom cha boom cha boom" was a pleasurable thing to listen to.
Hence - Forza will have to be good for single player to hold my interest.

Ewf, Sorry bra, you just killed YOUR credibility with making such an ignorant statement. GT4 Jpn physics still have a way to go to be considered the benchmark. They are good but not the best. Even GT's creator Kaz himself stated that Konami might be making Enthusia too realistic. You can make a statement like that and pride yourself as making the most realistic driving game. GT is not the king of sim racers becuase its the most realistic, its becuase its physics are watered down just enough so that casual players are able to get around the track without crashing in every corner.

actually devilgtx i think live4speeds 'scorecard' is one of the best things that have been posted in this thread, I could not have done a better job on how to point out to all those gt fanboys out there that forza is not a bad game and gt4 might not be the next coming of christ
btw, I am a gt fanboy but I FEAR forza, I believe that it will teach polyphony a thing or two about racing games.
I know my opinion doesn't count for much but I just believe that certain members who have been posting in this thread have to take their heads out of their asses if they haven't done so already, then they'll see forza for what it really is: a potentially great racing/driving game with enough promise to dethrone the gt series.

i dont see how physics are more advance and realistic when a ferrari or any other car understeer into the first corner of laguna seca at 50km/h, and there is no such thing is brakes in the game. you can say my driving sucks, but i can get silver on S-16 license in GT4 on my first try and have real track experience.
even that TOCA game offer better physics then Forza
the 360 Modena sounds like nothing in real life. rest of the car modelling looks fake. and next time, tell me how a modena sounds like when u are actually in the driver seat driving it.
I dont know about everyone elses opinions, and i dont care. im going to post mine here. forza will look good, have tons of cars, and in the end will look oh-so-mediocre on a normal TV, and the tuning system will be buggy, the game will be a universal racer wannabe like TOCA2. GT4, will end up being better than GT3, with more cars than Forza, more realistic graphics, photo mode and b-spec mode. tuning in GT4 is much more in depth, im afraid youre mistaken there. as far as body kits, if you are so desperate to get a new look for your pimp ride, go play NFSU2, the pros of GT4 heavily outweigh that one con.
