I got a mid 1:18 yesterday with the Cobalt, pretty sure a mid 17 is easily achievable with a clean lap (at least with the setup I am using it is)

Man if you beat my time I don't know what i'm going to do. That was pretty much a picture perfect lap for me with a pretty good tune. Iv'e tried a few other cars but can't seem to get as good a feel for them. I did build a D class Elan that I have yet to try though.

I've been trying to beat you for the last two hours with no success. 1:05.6 is the best I've managed. I will not give up!! Your lap is pretty much perfect, but I'm miles faster in the last corner, don't know if it is the car though. You kick my a** 2/3 of the lap!

^ Thanks Forcone! Yeah that last corner is the weak spot of my car. I could use just a little more acceleration too but it was worse before adding a tune to it.

That's what I thought! I think 1:05.3 is probably the fastest that car could go with my tune. Not going to happen though!!

It's the car mate! Have a go in the Elan, it is super fast! Haven't tried that Pinto thing, as I don't have that pack

The dart may not be that fast at all . I tried some different cars like the 70s Charger or the Mazda MX-5 but just need to tweak the settings a bit.

Sorry mate, the Dart is FAST!! First 500 times are all posted with it. I also tried the MX-5 and about 20 other cars but none of them matched my trusted Elan! Pinto and Spark seem to be doing well in the leaderboards as well.

I could only get low 6s with the Elan. Went back to the Pinto and had the lead going into the last corner twice but couldn't hold it.

I was finally able to run a few qualifying laps tonight. I tried Forcone's Lotus and moved from 16th to 10th in about 15 minutes....it's really easy to drive. 👍 ...decided to build a Pinto and went from 10th to 8th. I'll try to improve on that tomorrow.

Just spent 3 hours trying to chase down Forcone and NOTHING. Had the lead going into the last corner a half dozen times and could never seem to get it to stick. Felt like the GT Academy all over again.

Nice to hear! 👍 The Pinto seems to be really fast! I'm still trying to decide whether I should buy the season pass or not. I already bought one pack, but am still not sure if to buy the whole thing or not... I don't think I'll buy just the Pinto... The other cars in the pack seem fun too!

Frustrating isn't it?? I was so near to lose my last bit of hope chasing you down until I got that one lucky one. The last corner is what makes the difference with my car!

Honestly, with these kind of times, it's got more to do with luck than with skill IMO. You just kinda have to "throw" the car into every corner and pray for the best, am I right?

But honestly, I'm certain you can do that with the Pinto looking at your previous driving! It is just matter of persistence. You definitely got the "balls" I was lacking before!
