Nice upgrade Chris. Just an update with me, since I am in the midst of making my cockpit, I have my gear over at my dad's garage for proper measurements and will not be racing til it is finished, estimated another week or 2. I will however be down for this soccer game, I haven't tried it yet, sounds fun.
 
It was awesome racing with you guys finally today. I should be moving within a month or so and might be able to get on more regularly. If iRacing doesn't take up my whole weekend.

Yes, your best 7 finishes will be used to tally the final points. I hope Turn 10 fixes the problems with the game freezing online ...I can't make the races every week due to family and work obligations. I need a good finish every time I race because I won't make all 10 races. :grumpy:
 
I could be another 3-4 weeks before I see a return to a normal network again :(

Finally got online for a proper go at some rivals.. but i still have painful lag so going online would only drag the rest of ya down :( (I'm not ignoring the invites.. it's just too slow to be worthwhile at the moment!)

Servers appear to be down at the moment or just really inconsistent. I can't access any rivals events. I can go into to it but then there are no selections to be made. When I go into club it's hit or miss. Sometimes I get in other times it says servers not available. I'll try again a little later.

He came back on track a little wild, but steering full to the right, you could have known he was coming back on track but you didn't anticipate by giving him a little bit of room to do so, you stick to your racing line.. You could have avoided this, the penalty is in my eyes a bit too heavy here... I understand why but it's not as extreme as others..

The way they were coming straight onto the track at that angle I figured I would have enough room on the inside but that didn't happen. I was trying to anticipate where they would end up (which at the angle they were taking I figured would be the outside portion of the track) I tried to slow down and take the inside but it was too late. I was coming full speed on a car that was almost at a dead stop. I had been getting a good run through that section in practice and was trying to catch up after being turned around on the very first corner. If I tried going to the outside I would have ended up off the track at the speed I was coming at. This person doesn't take part in our regular events and ended up quitting before the race was over. Those are also things I took into consideration with this one race ban.
 
Car Soccer was fun.👍 Driving that Cobalt wasn't on the other hand. That thing had some ridiculous understeer. I just couldn't drive it. I feel bad for you Chris on the other hand. You seem to get taken out in every race. One thing that worked with the crashing in my racing series back on GTP was we ran a pace lap for the first lap. This helped warm up the tires and it made us line up into one straight line so it would keep it clean for the most part. I think there was only one time where someone got taken out in the first turn. We could also do something like we keep the speed to 60 MPH through the first turn and then go full throttle after that. Just some thoughts.

Thanks for racing Looney! That Dino is fast as hell on the straights....I caught you in the corners but your speed won out. I think I could have got you if we had one more lap though! ;)

3:01.211 is my fastest yet. Only got invalidated because I hit a car at the end of the previous lap. This is starting to get frustrating.
 
Finally I managed to do a clean lap! Not a fast one though, 3:04,939. Did a few 3:01's too but same reason as chilldomi..
 
Yes, I got lucky with my time :)

A few seconds faster? depends on the traffic flow.. If I could have dragged the Ai drivers out of the AI cars.. :mad: beatings would have commenced:eek:

it was time to walk away from the controller :guilty:
