Hey guys. I just thought of a wild idea for season 3. Tell me what you guys think.
How about we pick either 1 certain class (or 2 if we want to run multi class still) and we figure out a list of leaderboard cars to eliminate from being chosen, then everyone picks whatever car they want from the class that was chosen (the car could have been from a lower class and upgraded to the class running? ) Then you must remain in that same car for the entire season.
You'd be allowed to re-tune your car from race to race and even swap parts as long as you dont go over the PI restriction.
We can also do some testing if we still feel some cars that were chosen may have an advantage and have PI limits for those cars. I know we may still have some cars with a slight advantage but I think as long as we really switch up the tracks then a car that may have an advantage on one type of track will not on another...
What do you guys think?
I'm not even sure what cars are leaderboard cars anymore so I'll let you guys do that lol. Had some races with Wiggs.. Only managed to win one lol.
I think you were sandbagging on La Sarthe. I was way ahead and all of a sudden you blew by me and I couldn't catch up. You're a good driver though....to keep the races as close as you did without using aero on any of your cars.
I will run r2if it helps
For some reason I quit getting notified when someone posts in this thread...weird...Anyway I like Chris' idea about modifying the car you want to the next class up...This way you can have a veriety of cars on the track (weakness and strenghts showing)......Put me down for B-Class cars...anything faster than A Im all over the place.....
Alright.

Hmmm, I've got a bunch of B Class cars I could go with. I'll let you know a little later what my choice is. EDIT-The Mustang King Cobra and Corvette Stingray 427 are leaderboard cars in B class on speed tracks....I'll take a closer look later and see if I can find any other cars that should be banned...also the Celica SS-I and Lancia 037 on Alps or any course with long sweepers.
Put me down for R2............I will be busy until Saturday afternoon so anything you need Chris, I can help then.
The '97 Civic is the leaderboard car. I'm gonna probably go with either the Renault 5 Turbo or Ferrari 250 Cali.
B-Class: 97 Civic Type R, Any Elise, VX220, Opel Speedster, MR-S are all banned.

Gotcha. 👍 Don't forget to pick a car when you figure out which one you want to use.
I'm thinking about it, have to check what R2 cars I can use. Thinking of getting me the Porsche GT1 racecar I'll let you know 👍
Is it allowed to tune a numbered R3 car to R2?

Looking to gain some experience and pick up plenty of advise along the way.
Been on F4 since May, GT5 transfer, I do have some online experience.
