Is there a rule in ToCA that chrome is not allowed? For the body colour at least, because if there isn't there should be. Chrome is distracting...

As the sun went down, everyone was blinded (sssh, tactics!)

Dirty tactics.... Tut tut...

Just sayin' :P

Maybe that's the thinking behind DeltaWing? Daytona, sunrise, banking... all the ingredients for some visibility issues.

Bought and configured all cars last night and got to try a few and I must say I wasn't impressed with most RWD's. Both the Lexus and the Toyota showed a quite violent tendency to snap-oversteer, which will be especially troubling in traffic. You'd need an almost prophetic ability to foresee that coming. The Toyota also just seemed slow, but that could have been due to my knowledge of Apricot Hill Reverse, which was non-existant before last night (I had never driven a single lap in that direction since ... GT4?), and that was the first car I tried there. Apart from the cars' sudden attempts to kill you, they were quite enjoyable to drive though. The Hyundai we already know to have a loose rear end, whereas the Nissan is beautiful to drive, but maybe a tad too slow compared to the fast FWD's.

That's just first impressions, public testing never allows enough of a methodic approach to be of much use, I find.

Am I really the only one who thinks the Toyota doesn't snap? It has tons of grip, and you tell it's going way before you need to do anything.

There's another problem here Furi. My 370GT has everything here but it only has 481 PP at 100% power. At 92.4% it also only has 314 BHP with 472 PP.

Oil change?

Hyundai with oil change has 388HP..

Fixed in OP now.

Most of these power problems could be solved by limiting the power more, but I don't know if we are supposed to follow the power limitation specs as well.

Eh? The power limiter specs are 100% correct if you have all parts done and oil changed.

I have Oil Change, but I did it after I bought all the parts. I did everything before it had any miles too.

Breaking in a car no longer raises a car's power, so for those cars with already revised spec sheets, you should follow everything to the letter, including PL, to get the correct values for both HP and PP...

Still can't get a .5 like Joe and Nin, I can do .6s all day, everyday. I've done high .6s, low .6s, mid.6s, I'm pretty sure I've done a .6 in every single hundredth of a second interval between .60 and 70, but no .5. I can see it's possible on my sector times, but stringing it together is a pain.

I'll be the first to admit that these cars and track aren't good for me. Brands Indy is a horrendous track IMO.

Now I've sussed it. Thanks @Furinkazen for the tip. 👍

I would agree that the Toyota snaps, it has a nasty habit of suddenly letting go in turn 2 at Silverstone International. However when it's all going right it handles so well that it's .1 clear of the fastest FWDs in sector 1 at Silverstone International. As such it is a bit slow on the straights, but in the right driver's hands (test first, don't pick it if you're not prepared to have to work for your overtakes) it will be on pace.

Lexus I wouldn't say snaps, but it does like to let go, albeit in a slightly more gradual manner than the Toyota. It's also much easier to catch. Not as much grip as the Toyota, but nice balance and better on the straights.

Nissan is beautiful to drive (despite a touch of understeer at high speed), and is slightly slower than the FWDs on the straights (however it should have 340hp, discussing it with Furi right now) which would help. It was the fastest at Silverstone International in my testing.

Genesis I've never really liked. It feels like the rear axle is made of foam.

Unfortunately the RWDs will most likely be overlooked, especially the Lexus. But ho hum!

It's really simple, get two chassis and run then back to back and use the one you feel then most comfortable in. :)

G27 is better. DFGT is old but does the job for me.

I remember using a DFGT on one of the multiple launch events of GT6 in a store here in Brazil... The experience I had with it was good, besided being only 2 laps...

Christmas was cool that year.
I used to have a really old Logi (G -27?) but that started turning really violently when I played NFS Shift, and I used to play that game all the time so it was pretty useless and I got rid of it.
