@Andil @Scaniabebe @raceorama123432 Renault -10hp for rest of season.
So you forgot how the Ford was completely untouchable at Spa? (Yes, just as untouchable as we were at Nurb - but at Spa, Nin had the pace to win all three races, I couldn't do that at Nurb)

And how the Alfa is quicker than the Renault in a straight? (AMD actually set fastest lap in Nurb R2 and was only 0.01 slower in Nurb R1)

But ok then.#FuriLogic

The alfa used to get destroyed in the straights, has now been completely overhauled but im on the rev limiter in 6th when other cars still have another gear to pull.

I did a few laps earlier and got a few laps around the 59.6 and 59.7 mark, reaching around 135mph by the end of the wellington straight.

Then a few laps around Brands Hatch GP layout and managed a 34.2 which will put the lead guys in the 32's

Regardless that the Renault destroys everything in a straight line. Alfa is fastest now but doesn't have best chassis, Renault had a much better one.

Ford untouchable at Spa, no change to BoP. Renault untouchable at Nurb (unless you're driving an Alfa), quick nerf the Renault it looks like Ford might not win the title!!!1

I would say it's a miracle for you to lose the title by any stretch of the imagination.

Above post very tongue in cheek btw ;)

And I dunno.. I expect the Fords to be competitive at Silverstone (when I'm not here), and I expect them to be quickest at Brands GP (when I am).

I doubt we will be quick at BHGP because there are very few acceleration zones and a lot of long corners where understeer will be horrible, so I think it will be pretty close on points at the end.. That's why I'm not happy about the power drop btw, because we are going to be slow at BHGP and it's just going to make it worse.

I'll go ahead and reserve 9 of one car so my team will win by sheer numbers. I'll get 3 joint teams with an independent and it'll be total domination because out of 15 entries 9 will be me, myself, and I. I'll go full James team manager extraordinaire, and I'll become the burger meister meister burger of ToCnd

In terms of fastest laps we did we were only separated by 0.2 but I had better tyre wear and was pulling away at the rate of 1 second at the end of race 1. Reverse grid is harder because you can actually pass people and I only won Race 2 thanks to you losing time with Matheus and a lucky move by me into the Bus Stop. Race 3 I made a mistake and dropped me further back slightly and lost my chance for anything better than 3rd.

Willow was similar, we were pretty close in quali but you started at the back(after exiting I presume) and you got back up to 2nd or 3rd. Race 2 you were taken out at the start putting you at the back and Race 3 you finally got that win while I had some trouble clearing the SigAm Honda's. I gained about 2/3 seconds in 8 laps I think in that one as your tyres began to go off.

Apricot Hill I couldn't touch you at all, likewise with Nurb and Silvo which suit the Reno accel.

In Nurb my best lap was 0.9 of a second slower than yours even if it wasn't the Ford's best track but that was pretty big.

Don't forget you failed to finish Race 2 at Silverstone and if you had your advantage would be even larger. I personally didn't want to complain about the Renault specs because it was too late to change anything and I didn't want to push it to favour me more but it's happened.

Can't argue with any of that 👍 #NinLogic

While I accept we've had more advantage tracks than disadvantage ones, I'm just concerned that the Reno is going to be an underpowered understeery boat at BHGP, it was tough enough to keep up with the Fords and Nissans at Spa, and BHGP is a similar type of circuit.

Uhm, that sounds slightly odd. Care to explain what you mean with "overhauled" when all you can change are gear and brake settings...? I have also no idea how you could change the settings so that the Alfa wouldn't be the fastest on the straights (along with the Lexus maybe) except for deliberately using a gear setup that's too short.

If you're running into the limiter your gears are set too short. Simple as that. One thing the Alfa is not lacking is power & torque, and it's not in a narrow band either, so it shouldn't be too hard to set up the transmission properly.

I took his post as saying that the Alfa had been boosted at some point by Furi, not that he had made it faster himself. Not too sure what he means about being on the rev limiter though, as you said, sounds like bad gearing :)

Alfa hasn't been boosted I overhauled the set up ie gearing and bob set up to make it more stable and faster.

Can't be that wrong if I'm running into the limiter if it's getting me up to the top.

Same happened with the range rover, set it up normally and it was mid field then changed it so it ran into the limiter before the end of the straight and it started winning races.

Seemed to work for red bull over the last 4 years aswell :)

Unless he was doing something similar to the Evoque? I remember him saying something about setting up the Rangey to run into the limiter...

EDIT - I am correct.
