Plus, I suppose the Toyota might theoretically be capable of faster lap times, just not with me at the wheel. The other car I wasn't able to get those lap times with, was the Mazda, and although it handles really awfully I thought, it has power, and if you manage to find gear ratios that fit to the track (it having only 5 of them), it might actually also be up there. Although, in my opinion, it will always be a compromise with the standing starts in this series.

I got it down to 47.7 at Brands, but at Silverstone it and the Nissan were running xx.0-1 first sectors, really shows their capability.

Mazda is an odd one, 47.7s (just and it took a lot of gearing/BB changes) again at Brands, not my cuppa that's for sure.
