@Furinkazen will you be taking into account both drops before we run at Le Mans so we know exactly what the situation is to do with points before we start (as we can't drop Le Mans)

Le Mans will be droppable. Still double pts though. Drops will start being accounted for at Spa. Also little note on the FRL desk today for me said something rather loud and noisy is being announced at Daytona, and we will be doing split Q for remainder of season.

Also standings are going to be close in GT-P as it'll be:
Joe: 20pts, Me: 19pts and Nin: 18pts

Despite having crashes in both races through no fault if my own (not necessarily anyone's fault) 4th and 3rd aren't bad results :) A clean race and a win could be on the cards. It seems like @snowgt has had both the pace and the ability to avoid drama!

What's up with the brightness thingy on the GT-P standings?

So print screen took a shot of my brightness setting on laptop?

And Snows best driver period. He dominated in the Merc last season. Be unfair to attribute it all to the Ferrari, otherwise Yera and Daiba be 1-2-3 every race with him.

I swear I could pull off second or third. But I can't match the pace of Yera and Roffle like I can with the others.

The first three races of this season I was really able not to do anything stupid while using the car's strengths. Couldn't have gone any better. But even then, after about 2/3 of the race at Matterhorn, @Roflwaffle was leading. There's just no free lunch in WSC. :D

And the tyre wear...

True. That was an advantage, especially in these early races and that's where the GTO was definitely probably also the best car. As we're getting to the faster tracks now, I sense though that it won't play that much of a role anymore. I expect a lot closer races, starting with Daytona. Bathurst I can't really say which car has an advantage - it's part power track and part handling course and due to the past troubles with the track I have never tested there. Then Monza & Silverstone, both good for the cars with good top speed, and the championship could look a lot different than it does now.

Snow's got more than twice as many points as the person in 2nd place :dunce:

Yeah, but with dropped scores I'm just 4 points ahead!! :scared:;)

Like I said above … it is true that the GTO was probably the best car for the tracks so far as it is the best handling car in the field, but the pendulum swings back a bit in the coming races as it's the slowest on the straights. I hope I can stay as much out of trouble like until now, because I'll need it. Yera will not have troubles forever, Waffle and Smuffy will come on strong, O'rama showed good pace already, and I'm sure Ross and Siggers will compete again in the Mustang.

Now can you imagine a 16-car GT-O field…? :D

Some things I've noticed in my replay.

  • The Ferrari is faster down the straight than the Cobra
  • The Ferrari has better tyre wear than the Cobra
  • The Ferrari handles better than the Cobra
  • The Ferrari has better fuel consumption than the Cobra
