This at least gives @Furinkazen time to update the tables ahead of Le Mans. 
By the way, I checked the Silverstone replay and @raceorama123432 and @Andil ended up with the exact same fastest lap time, only O'rama did it first, so he should get the extra point (on top of his point for pole). (2:12.526, IIRC)

To keep it simple, I would suggest to then award both of them a full point. Just because 0.142857 isn't very practical.

If it helps, I've only competed in this one round and I DNF'd anyway so I don't actually care about the point(Didn't know I'd managed to do a .5 either, not bad!)
You also get half points for your position, because you dc'd after the 2/3-mark. So, your championship score is 5.5 (or 6).

That wouldn't make a lot of sense though, because, suppose there's only 3 people running in your class, you're leading and get dc'd. You would be classified 3rd and get 6 points. If, say, 5 people are running in your class and you're leading when being dc'd, then you would only get 4 points, although leading 4 others is more of an achievement than leading 2 others…?

You have to be running at the end. If you cover more laps than someone and DC, you get classified below them. Simples.
