Its a doable idea but it does mean that everyone has to find the time to be there on a different day and two less days to have the car running well

Two less days? This weekend i'm doing test day saturday, race sunday. For next seaosn just means one hour of test day counts towards Q. Could also mean earlier start as well.

Oh is it Saturday now, okay so one day less to get it running if test day went badly. However yes, you can make the start be at half 7 instead of 8 which would cancel out some of the length of the race for the finishing time

Quali on the day before is also good to get the race going early enough.
