I don't think the shooting his lawnmower part is what got him jailtime. Its gotta be the sawnoff shotgun that he used to do it. Otherwise he'd probably be in a jail for a month or so.

In other news, according to the BBC, Adelaide has moved. It was clearly bored being in Southern Australia and has taken a cross-continental hike to the warmer reaches of the Northern Territory!

I saw that story earlier, and I agree with Dan - still, I think laughing at "Flat Earthers" is about the best response. If they won't take the evidence seriously, why should they be taken seriously in return?

I did like the bit about building a "global community of flat-earthers".... nuff said.

It can't be more than $50. It's a one time thing, he isn't gonna get KFC and pizza forever. So in the end it's saving a ton of money because most people plead innocent and drag everything out.

A New York man who pleaded guilty to murder in Oregon in exchange for buckets of fried chicken will get calzones and pizza to go with his life sentence.

Why plea for a break from jail food for one time? Half the food they listed, he wouldn't have wanted to eat on the same day anyways.
