Hiya guys! i'm new to this forum.

Heres my humble setup. I have been relegated to the cellar by my wife. Great down there though...what do you think?

glad to be into PS3 and GT. Was a hardened Forza fan, lol

Hi, and welcome to GTP. đź‘Ť Nice setup, and I wish I had a cellar, bet the mrs does too. :sly:

Cheers mate! yeah its great in the cellar.. the wife wouldn't let me take the Bravia down there though! GT prologue is really good, I only have the Driving force GT...its better than the MS wheel. maybe one day the G25. I have the 40gig version of PS3....will it run GT4 does anyone know? and will the wheel work ok

G25 works on GT4

You can turn the SEQUENTIAL shifter to work, but H shifter wont, as well clutch. Other then that it works fine :)

By the way. Many rumors about new Logitech wheel that will be much better to G25, as well I hear the new Porsche wheel RS is great too.

If I were you hold your money bit longer, wait and see.

You have a great wheel, one of the best for the money, but G25 does not make it 100% better. Sure its good, but just wait for new Logitech wheel.

Hi there everyone,I'm new to the forum and have just got my g25 mounted. After a bit of fettling the driving position is just right and you can still slide the seat in and out so the wife can have a go too!

seat = ÂŁ5 (P reg vauxhall omega from breakers yard!)
timber = ÂŁ10
nuts n bolts = ÂŁ5
paint + primer = ÂŁ10
wheels = ÂŁfree from shopping trolley in pub car park

Chapman, that is pretty cool. Just paint it, and nice stickers :)

And Radracing, pretty cool setup, nice and small. Is it durable? does not shakes?

Still a WIP but here is what I have completed so far :

Cheers,

-Chapman

So who is the lucky one that gets the passenger seat while the other drives?:dopey: or is the other seat for moving the wheel over to do left hand drive? Just curious :sly:

Someone need to reach back and get "drinks" out of back seat while moving on down the road.

The setup is intended to have 2 DFP wheels - I have a temporary setup for my MAME arcade while this one is being built - it will be a dedicated 2-player head-to-head Gran Turismo & TOCA rig. All I need is the hot apple red paint - racer stripes down the middle and a huge 42 inch LCD screen and I'm in business.

I'll keep you guys posted with further photos....

Cheers,

That sounds really cool, I don't recall seeing anyone do head to head 2 person cockpit yet.

Hi everyone, first post!

I can't remember who this belongs to but I used his design to create mind.

And here's mine. You should be able to see the similarities. It's pretty heavy but I put wheels on it so it rolls around anywhere I want it.

Very nice job, That will be cool when do the split screen racing. The best part is if you get punted while running head to head your just an arms reach from correcting the problem!:mischievous:

restarted playing GT4(doing a whole career just A-spec_ after GT5p got really boring
stuck with only sequential and paddles shifter i decided too make a sequential shifter
so after beefing up the inside springs of the G25 i took a snapped showel handle i found in my garage and i machined it on my lathe too fit an old bicycles lock-on grip

Great work Dan, I'm very impressed!

I'm also quite sure I couldn't do anything of the sort myself

Seriously mate, love the setup! Thanks for posting đź‘Ť

All the best

Thanks for the compliment. It was very easy to make and took about 3/4 hours.

Despite it's looks, it is very simple and fairly cheap. I bought all the parts new from a diy shop, total cost about ÂŁ30. I had all the tools but essentially you just need a saw, a drill with a couple of bits, a pencil and a tape measure!

It's very handy to be able to fold it up and it fits under the stairs without taking up too much space.

All done (minus some decals that are still on backorder)

50 inch Panasonic Plasma 720p TV hooked up to a slim-line PS2 with HDMI cambles - has a logitech 5.1 surround sounds and the subwoofer is placed at the rear of the twin seats to give the a$$ a nice rumblin'.

Cheers,

S. Chapman

That is a really cool setup and a nice project Chapman 2424. One day I hope to have a basement as a game room, I would like to get some pinball machines to play/restore as a hobby. You just can't simulate a "real" pinball machine in a videogame.
