Nurburgring GP/F - 10 laps

Race 2
Suzuka - 10 laps

Race 3
Fuji F - 10 laps

These races are to test the specs. PLease try to use different cars so we gather as much feedback as possible. If each driver could set each car up as you would for a league race (transmission, lsd and suspension etc)

All cars are to be set to the specs listed, using Sports Soft tires.

Car Specifications
The figures listed below are your base specs. Be sure to make sure all cars are fully run in with an oil change. Pay particular attention to power limiter %.
If you require more aero, you can add weight or lower hp. Just be sure not to exceed the maximum hp and pp.

I'll have trouble making the preseason race. My kids visit their mom Saturday from 12-5. Uggggh I'll try and get back shortly after 5 and join the action though. I made the plans before knowing this series was going. Sorry.

Looks currently like I might be away from home the morning of the pre-season race. I'll update later in the week if I can make it. Urgh.

@maxking cheers mate, any races you can make will be great.

@joe car choice for the regular season isn't open yet, only for the Pre-season. Sign up will need to be here on gtp although everyone will need to register at PURE for standings and teams etc.

The earlier everyone signs up at PURE the better.

Who's heading this up maybe I should start my Jstc season after this 1 ends as long the drivers agree?

@joe this series will run until the March 23rd. Either myself or Eddie will be fronting it. Of course the times don't clash with Jstc, so its up to you whether you delay or not.

@ Stretch The specs have been tested by Dom and Johan. the races this week is to try test them against each other to see if anything needs adjusting. It really is just a case of trial and error to find which cars suit you. These specs are totally different to last season.

PLease try out these car specs and post any feedback, good or bad. If all goes to plan, i will be looking to host a pre-season race to test the specs on Saturday at 21:00 UTC.

Thanks to Dom (CSLACR) and Johan (johnkiller2) for their work in coming up with these specs;

HP ratings are maximums, except the Lexus and Subaru '08 which are minimum.
Weight ratings are minimums, ballast could be freely added if desired.
PP ratings are, well, PP ratings, no higher.

These specs are so confusing. The new PP rating has caused major confusion. The Lexus is wicked fast and if these are the specs. I'll use it. Maybe the Arta Garaiya. I like its handling best. The S2000 LM isn't shabby either.

The new update has thrown things off in PP department.

Anyone try that Altenza? It's a complete turd bucket. Push push push. Tried all sorts of tuning and it still crap.

Thinking more tweaking is in order before finalizing for sure.


Edit: I'm looking to run the S2000 LM as well. Red in color. Dragon gonna use Blue. I've got a Purple/pink one if anyone wants it. ;) also if there is a yellow one out there. I'd love to obtain it.

Gonna have to ask to change my car for the pre-season. After some testing the Altezza might as well be a FWD. I would rather drive the S2000 LM.

I am sure we will make adjustments to the specs after the races on Saturday. I haven't been able to try any of the 20/30 aero cars as I don't have them yet :(
If anyone did want to part with any I would be happy to receive them ;)

I will update the driver list once I get home
