When the game outputs in 5.1 DTS, there are all kinds of audio bugs.

I really like the game.
But the thing that borders me the most is a how the picture sometimes seperates in horizontal lines like this.
Anybody eles got that, and know if there is anything to do about it?
I mean, Gt has always been the best looking racing game with no drops in the visuals IMO. I still think it is great but not as superior as it used to be.

Loving the game little things that bug me but not taking away from the overall game.

Seems some cars are particualarly badly modelled though, anyone had a look at the Classic Mini?

Saw the write up for the Toyota Prius quotes it as returning 999.9l/100km which i found quite amusing...

The game constantly tells me my time/date is wrong when its right.

I get the same, its annoying! also the clock in the top right of the screen is off by an hour for me. The clock is set right on my PS3, so I guess the in game clock is set via PD's servers or something.

The Karts going faster in reverse must be fixed!!!! Especially before time trials go online! All they have to do is put a 30mph governer on it while in reverse gear.

Premium Suzuki Cappo EA21R - When windscreen wipers are turned on, they stay at the bottom of the screen - it looks like theres 2 sets of wipers; one set "turned off" and one set wiping the screen.

Also had a freeze during licence test b test 4 - system froze after pressing "start".

I had the game also freeze on me once and IIRC it was also during the license tests. I don't know for sure if it was B4, but it hasn't happened again

I see what you mean. But, you do not need to use such massive pictures. You could use a reliable picture resizing source called Imageshack. It is free to use at anytime when you need to resize a picture.

By the way, I resized the picture for the troubles.

Ok I am sure this has been said, but it has been driving me up a wall. Why have a race for trucks, when you cannot even buy at least a crappy premium one. I have not seen one in the used dealer at all. I am now lvl 18 and doing expert races, but the truck race just sits...waiting.

Ok F1 car is in Ferrari there are 2 of them, as for the bulk of the cars they appear in the used car section. there are 800 or so second hand cars that randomly (I think) shuffle through the used car lot.

The Event requires a car refered to as a "Formula Gran Turismo". Nowhere in the Ferrari F1 description does it make this reference.

The other events are comprised of cars that are not and never will be "used cars". Either way, I'm at the end of my game unless the game is about coming back every day and looking at used cars instead of racing. Someone at PD just decided that in order to give the game a longer "life" they arbitrarily set a value, in some cases, between 4,000,000 and 40,000,000 credits to a required car. As an avid player and moderately skilled competitor, do you realize how long it would take and how bored you would be trying to save up 40,000,000 credits ! Just not the slick package I have been accustomed to

Although it may not sound like it, I do love the game. The physics are second to none and track selection is pretty darn good. It's just frustrating when you grind to a halt half way through the game.

Also, at Level 23 and 54% completion, I still don't see any reference to any endurance racing. I have Gold trophys in every event except the one previously mentioned ?? Also, since there are only 5 events unfinished, why only 54% ??

Calm down, it's like earning the Polyphony Digital F1 car from winning the Nurburgring 24 hour endurance race, to participate in the Formula GT World Championship. Just have to win a certain race or license achievement to earn the vehicle.

One thing I've noticed that I would consider a bug is that sometimes more than one of the same car model will show up in the list. Usually the only difference is a few miles/km in total miles, the color (not always) and maybe 50cr in price. As lame as the used car dealership system is, it's even more frustrating when two spots are taken up by the same crappy car.

Not really a bug/glitch, but there really needs to be an easier way of finding out if I already own a car that's listed in the dealerships. It's not that big of a deal right now since I only own about 60 cars but I will definitely need a reference once the collection starts getting into the hundreds.

I have had 4 instances where the game froze and forced me to reboot during screen changes or entering a license test. Chuk has had just as many! I would think that beta testing would have revealed many of these errors we are finding... What was PD doing for 5 years? Overall though I am stoked to have the new game, but I am shocked on the amount of bugs. Many of them obvious fixes that went undone.

Other issues that annoy me: Shadow quality (it's better in prologue!)
The throttle issue. Certain cars have 25% throttle showing while stopped. Does that affect offset the top speed of those cars?

So I'm glad to see I'm not the only one having 2nd gear issues with the G27. I was afraid something hardware wise was broken since I've only had the wheel hooked up for a week or so.

One other issue related to that is Reverse. As I said I've only had the wheel for about a week and am by no means a great driver so I tend to oversteer myself into walls on occasion. Reverse doesn't seem to work at all on a few cars I own (Mazda Eunos Roadster, VW Mk1 GTI) but works fine in the Stealth AMG Mercedes I got from Amazon. I get the shifter in reverse, the HUD shows Reverse but the car won't move. Even if I manually set it with /\ the car won't move in reverse. Anyone else have issues with reverse?

I'm sure it's been mentioned somewhere in here, but on most planets the Veyron does not qualify for for the European Hatchback competition. Perhaps I'm missing something crucial about the Veyron's design.

Oh well, Bob is certainly enjoying himself. That pesky 106 is no longer terribly stiff competition for him.

so i actually own a FC3S Type GT-X and after searching and searching for it in the used car section, i realized you can just purchase it from the dealership!!


so i'm all ecstatic about driving it in the game only to find the tachometer in the interior view only revs to 4k RPM when it's actually going to 8200 RPM .... although, it's no big deal really, i ask with a big fat PLEASE! for PD to fix the bug to help give us FC driver's out there a PREMIUM feeling when ripping the tracks... THANK YOU!!


and also, are there any other cars with pesky inaccuracies? please feel free to share so that we don't feel like these inconsistencies are only happening to "us"... thanks

GT-R GT500 Chromeline: The sticker on the top of the windscreen should be reversed - you can read the writing inside the car, when in reality you wouldn't be able to.

sighhh to have delayed the game to make it "perfect" just doesn't justify the ULTRA delay... nonetheless, the game is still really awesome to me. i just hope they come up with downloadable patches (fixes) instead of having to wait for GT6

Zonda R seems to lose its engine sound on some races when given a trubo and stage 3 engine tuning. Gearbox and backfire sound still there but thats it.

So if I'm a fraction of a second away from a Gold in a particular license test or event, certain cars, tracks and events will never be made available to me. Seems like I paid the same amount of money as everyone, yet I only get a portion of the game due to things beyond my control. And I say that as an avid racer who has every copy of GT since Day 1 and having started and finished every version of the game from start to finish many times over. I have what I consider to be slightly above average skills, having placed in the top ten many times in the Prologue Time Trial Leaderboards and finished 423 in the Indianapolis 370Z Time Trial. I have just completed a run in a Special Event, repeated exactly 50 times and continualy come within a tenth or two of the Gold. I am sick to death of the repetition and can't believe anyone would design a game that so severly penalizes anyone who isn't so perfect in every way. Doesn't seem like a good way to introduce new people to the genre. Don't get me wrong, I like a good challenge and I have the utmost respect for the people who get all Golds, but they are probably a very small percentage of the people who plunk down their hard earned money. Just a shame that I only get a portion of the game I paid for simply because I can't find a tenth or two here and there.

I bought F1 2010 on pc and that game needs improvements, but it seems like they dropped the ball and already working on other projects. Hell even forza would just start on a new one,. GT is a commitment to continue it, since it already took this long to develop it.

it's not my intention to pick on you, PD. i tip my hat off to you and the development of the superb game which i am happy with, but these little blemishes on the game... KAHMANNNN EHHH!!

Online status seems bugged.

My only GT5 friend is online playing right now - we are chatting in google chat. My xmb says he is online & playing gt5, but in-game he is listed as online. We have searched through all the settings and can find nothing that would hide your online status to friends.

The only time he appears online to me is when he is actually in my lounge. I can send him cars, and his profile updates (miles, cash, cars, license, etc...)

Anyone know if this is a bug or we are just stupid?
