The Takata Dome NSX (perhaps all the NSX GT500s as well) has a gear indicator in the cockpit that always displays one less gear, EG 1 is displayed as 0 (Neutral FTW!), 6 becomes 5. So on, so forth.

During the Formula Gran Turismo Champoinship on the Nurburgring GP race, AI cars would almost always go off track and spin on the chicane before the last corner.

Not sure if I'm alone here, but when I view my Toyota Vitz prize car (from the A-spec Sunday Cup) in my garage it displays 888hp. :dopey:

When I play a certain license test for a long time (maybe two hours plus) and achieve a gold, then the game becomes gittery and does not continue to the menu...

This happened to me when I finally beat IC-10! Man was I livid!

Not sure if already mentioned...

Sometimes on the rally special events, the verbal countdown would not match the popped up countdown of the game.

This is probably not a bug/glitch but the AI is terrible and the collision sounds need patching in a big way. These are both issues that didn't exist in prologue so it amazes me how PD could take a step backwards since then

1. The Toyota Prius Spedometer on the Dashboard on the in car view resets at zero when you get to 125mph or so then starts all over. (for example at 130mph it says you are going like 8kph on the spedo)

2. All the non Turbo Mitsubishi 3000GT's and GTO's are 4WD. They should be FF since all non turbo models were FF. IN all previous GT games they got it right.

3. The Bugatti Veyron is considered a French car. It is actually a German car since it is manufactured by Volkswagen (they bought the Bugatti name)

All I have noticed so far.

Bugatti is a french company but its owned by the VW group, so its still french as VW don't make the cars themselves

Yes, though when I did that race almost all of them or at least the group of first cars in a cluster of cars would spin out there. And they did so on every lap.
One's B-spec driver spins out in that corner too.

Are you logged into the PSN when your playing.
If so you were probably logged out of the game community and the game was trying to log you in, which may at times take awhile.
These menus are faster (usually) when not logged into the PSN, as the game doesn't try to send the info to the community.
Hope you understand my terminology about the community.

Sometimes I get no verbal countdown.

It may not be a glitch but the co-driver can be a bit late on the 2 right or lefts sometimes.

My Raybrig #100 NSX has the same problem but on the other hand my Autobacs #8 NSX has correct gear indicator (both premium 06 versions).

BUG: CITROEN C4's (the normal one, not the rally car) cockpit camera is not centered. It's a little bit on the left of the wheel, it looks very strange driving it.

Can't map the horn in the steering wheel controller settings to the horn button on my dfgt. I can map any of the other buttons to be the horn button. I know others have bigger issues with the G25 / G27... but dfgt is supposed to be the officially supported wheel!

I then mapped the handbrake and reverse gear to be on the sequential stick (i usually use the paddles). It accepted these settings, but in game, the sequential shift stick just does up/down gears anyway.

Also, I keep finding TC set back to 5 whenever I change my vehicle. I keep setting it back to 0 but this setting doesn't "stick".

This is a scary one and I hope it's a temporary glitch or i'm missing something obvious. I've started playing B-Spec (am at level 22 in A-Spec) and I entered the DOME Zero into the Japanese Classics race, it was spinning out a lot so I bought some sports tyres to replace the comforts, clicked yes for install immediately but when I got to the race, I still had the comfort tyres on.

Went into settings, couldn't change the tyres. Scarier still, clicked out and went into Tuning options in the garage and I could see the various tyres but if I click on them, a box comes up with an "OK" button but no option to change. But worst of all, it seems like now I can't change the tyres on ANY of my cars.

Am I totally missing how you go about changing your tyes, say back to the stock tyres? Is there some other place i need to do it? So hoping my game save isn't stuck like this...

I don't know if anyone already noticed, but the air ducts on the side of the Murcielago SV (near rear wheel arch) are black in the dealership/garage, like in real life, but on the track and in photo travel, they are the same colour as the body. This is also one of the cars where the backfires are really blurred in photo mode. Maybe it was rushed, considering we only saw it a few weeks before GT5 was released.

The center button is always the horn. At least, it is for me. Have you tried it in a race?

The freakiest thing just happened to me when I was doing the final stage (SS5) of Intermediate Tuscany Tarmac Rally. To be honest, I wasn't doing very well as I struggled badly with understeer on my car throughout and was 8 secs off the pace lying in 3rd before the race. It would've took a miracle to win the whole rally but miracle it did happen.

For no reason, all the CPU cars slowed down in the middle of the track and just kept going round in circles and went bonkers. They were driving into each other as I just zoomed past them and won the rally as a result. I never seen anything like it, I saved the replay for good measure too. It's humorous but kinda disheartening coming from a game such as GT5.

Uhh............. Your completely wrong.

The only models that had 4WD were the Turbo models (the VR4) all other models (SL and Base) had FF only

Love when people post on topics they have no idea what they are talking about.
You wanna be an ass about it? Fine:
Mitsubishi GTO SR Specifications.

1996 JDM Mitsubishi 3000GT SR

You noted that PD didn't put any effort into correcting car specifications when they rename cars to the USDM names? Congratulations. You've just realized something that PD has done wrong since 1998. 👍

But let me break down your post:
since all non turbo models were FF.
Wrong.

IN all previous GT games they got it right.
Wrong. PD has never gotten it right.

3. The Bugatti Veyron is considered a French car. It is actually a German car since it is manufactured by Volkswagen (they bought the Bugatti name)
Wrong, or at the very least vague enough that it is ridiculous that you are citing it as a glitch that needs to be fixed. Bugatti are built in France by French people under a historical French nameplate. They are a subsidiary of Volkswagen, specifically under the control of Volkswagen of France. If you want to complain about what country Bugatti is listed under, you should just the same make Lamborghini German, TVR Russian, Chrysler Italian and Lotus Malaysian.

So, what was it that you said? Oh yeah:

MINI is listed as german. I know theres debate whether the new MINI's are german or Birtish, but they are still made in Britain. It should be listed as a british car, not a german car. Plus, the classic MINI is listed as german, now thats just stupid.

the 2nd gear shift issues is not a bug. they have programed it this way. remember in one of the prolouge updates they changed it because of the unfair "no lift shift" while playing online where you didnt need to lift off the throttle to switch gears.

But it is a huge pain in the ass and they have over done it

Nope, worst one of all, brake glow. In the AMG driving challenge picture, there's 2 SLS with their brakes glowing. In game however, they don't.

The AW11 Toyota MR2 G and G-Limited still have the opposite weight numbers that they should.

Edit: The Camaro Z28 '97 doesn't appear to have functioning tailights (based on the Demo mode from the used car dealer). Which is... weird, because I don't think that was a problem in GT3 or GT4.

just started playing last night finally-...

I went to practice on Route 7 with rain, and when ig loaded there was no rain. At first I thought I had clicked on the normal track without weather.
But once I reached the second toll booth, the road was red! It reminded me of a game I used to play on my PC that sometimes had problems rendering reflections and they came out purple.

Exited, and reloaded the track and everything was fine...

I also noticed that in the Samba race, the interior rear view mirror displays the Ai in high quality, while the external side view mirrors show a low quality model of the Ai...

No idea if it's been covered already (probably not..) but the Subaru Legacy Gen4 sedans have a rear light that is 'burnt' out. Bottom left light simply refuses to light up. Only tried with my 2.0GT and 2.0GT Spec.B, yet to try with it's 3.0R counterparts.
