Can't adjust individual gears on the 'fully adjustable' transmission and can't adjust the down force on the front air dam. One of the Corvettes (54, I think) has the text for the F-150 Lightning in it's description. Another car (can't remember) has the text for the Mitsubishi Eclipse.

- EXTREME Dream Car Series AI start wet races on dry tires, go super slow, pit on first lap and switch to wets

- Peugeot 908 brights dont work at night at Lemans

I think the wet tire bug was patched. My friend told me about it (how he won b-spec real easy), never happened to me.
Instead, my B-Spec driver wanted to pit in to put on dry tires instead of the rain tires I had him start with.
I got bored after telling him not to do it after about 5 laps. He then finished the race with Racing Softs, which oddly enough didn't affect his laptimes at all :)

In GT Rally, snow events are always easy. I am ahead of them 30 or more seconds per run. But in dirt and gravel, they're so fast and I only win by a few seconds.

Also in the Citroen WRC, he shifts with the paddle shifter, then quickly shifts with a gearbox. Kinda weird.

Mini from '68 is listed as Mini from '98 and manufacturer is from Germany.

Well the Mini in the game is from '98. It was British produced but I presume since Mini is now owned by BMW and built in Germany, that the manufacturer in the game is from Germany.

There are several issues with the X2010's cockpit in the rain. The lighting flickers every time you go of a rumble strip. And when you pit, the Place sign zones through the car and is WAY closer in the rain than in the dry for some reason. Also. In the dry, it doesn't even appear that the X2010 has a windscreen. It's weird.

The mud flaps on rally cars don't move as they should and as they were moving in Gran Turismo 4. For example examine how the mud flaps (black square behind rear wheels) behaves correctly in GT4 and how it looks fake in GT5:

Lancia Delta S4: Gran Turismo 4

Lancia Delta S4: Gran Turismo 5

The same happens in other rally cars like Lancia Stratos. I hope someone could forward this issue to Polyphony or to a bug list for GT5.

Some of you may say that I am nitpicking but since the mud flap animation was done for GT4 it's baffling how it's not in GT5 for cars that were ported from GT4. That (along with other things) in my opinion shows how quickly and without care standard cars were ported. Oh and by the way cars like the Delta S4 and the Stratos should have been premium and not standard!!

TL;DR

When changing tires on the FGT to say Wets or Intermediates the actual tire(visually) doesn't change until the next race reloads(regardless of the tire choice for that race)
So for example I chose Intermediates on Monza before the race started because it was raining they were still slicks(from the previous race). But when going to the next race and being dry and switching back to Softs before the race started the car THEN had Intermediates(visually)
This tyre glitch is pretty bad.

I've just completed the FGT Championship and even though I selected rain tyres for Monza before the start of the race it didn't change the tyres. Then I pitted in and the tyres didn't change to rain then either!

The same happened at Suzuka...or at least if felt like it, unless the rain tyres are really **** on a FGT.

Round Monza the rain tyres are awful. I set faster lap times on racing softs, even in driving rain! However for the AI the rain tyres worked properly and after their pitstop straight after the start of the race they caught me up at about 4 seconds a lap:crazy:

Well I didn't think the tires felt wrong they are just visually wrong. It doesn't load the right tires visually until the next race.

The following findings are more in the easter egg department than bugs/glitches.

1. The following three Fords : RS200 '84 , Focus RS '02 and Focus ST '06 spawn at Extreme Series / European Championship

2. You can enter any car to Extreme Series / Super GT as long as its under a japanese brand.
My car of choise Toyota 2010 KYLE BUSCH #18 CAMRY (The M&M's NASCAR)

It is interesting that the Super GT's car requirements / cars required to enter were not specified/restricted like they were for NASCAR Series and German Touring Car Championship.

To add to the Super GT, you can use the X1 for this as well. X1 is under Japan because it was created by PD, which is in Japan. Just my 2 cents. :)

I don't think that's wrong, those cars are all European designs, despite being Fords. The RS and ST were only available in Europe.

Yeah they got it wrong. Is a Lamborghini or Bentley German cars since they are owned by VW? Was Volvo American when it was owned by Ford? List goes on. Old Mini, New Mini... it's a British car even if owned by, and new model designed by BMW. Maybe this can be fixed via patch

The premium model of the '91 Acura NSX has the taillights from the '02+ NSXs (only the taillights are wrong, nothing else). Standard version of the '91 NSX looks correct.

Not sure which patch fixed this, but it is correct now.

Which is particularly silly because it means you can't enter at least one legitimate JGTC car.

That is true, but the game doesn't treat them as European cars (they are listed as American), so you can't enter them in the race if you want to.

Mini from '68 is listed as Mini from '98 and manufacturer is from Germany.

The manufacturer location is incorrect (even if you consider new BMW MINI to be German, listing it as such in the game is inconsistent with other foreign owned manufacturers like Lamborghini and Opel; and the classic Mini was a completely British car regardless), but the year is right. They still made classic Minis in 1998.

I started this thread last week thinking (hoping) the glitch was limited to Citroen GT.

https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=156326&highlight=gear+stick

Now that I own almost all the RM cars and most of the Premium race cars, it seems like it's a general bug.

"Sequential gear sticks" do not show up in cockpit view. However, they are clearly visible in Photo Mode (with the exception of Citroen GT where it's missing entirely).

This might not be visible in some cars. But is really annoying in most of them (e.g. GT, Corvette RM in wide cockpit view).

My GT5 fix / future update list.

1. Add Doors can be opened in photo mode (can be done via future update).
2. Add Convertible tops can be user controlled while driving or in photo mode (can be done via future update).
3. Add Custom gear box ratios (Tuning Junkies)
4. Add Leader boards (Competitive egotistical junkies)
5. Fix Mazda Furai lights as they do not illuminate the road even though they are illuminated.
6. Fix PD you broke the custom music feature. fix it.
7. Fix driver animations weird gear shifting
8. Fix Car descriptions
9. Fix Audi R8 V10 (has wrong engine modeling).
10. Fix for non HUD users (me) I.E. fuel gauges not working, check engine, clocks, some gauges in cars not working correctly, BMW, McLaren, Mini Cooper.
11. Fix Gallardo spoiler does not animate
12. Fix Audi R10 has an extra 6th gear when it should be limited to 5.
13. Resolve! Cars over 10 million credits cannot be gifted (X2010 lames under lvl 30) just as the DLC cars can't.

SLR flashing light are wrong... McLaren F1 speedometer works in Km/h but actually indicates Mp/h... SL55 rev stuck @ 4.5k rpm or so... when you hit a wall @ 5km/h with an expensive car, 500.000cr!!! WTF!!!... M5 super racing exhaust sounds like V8 Nascar... and... most of titanium racing super exhaust sounds like meh!

When you stop somewhere @ Nür, with no one in sight, if you stop your motor (clutch user) you can still hear people shouting at you o.O

How many people do we have to educate on this. . .
As soon as you drive a car in practice or in a race, it automatically opens up the engine rebuild and chassis restore functions. Crashing in single player online has NOTHING to do with this and contributes in NO WAY.

What? I don't get it... I was in practice mode with the McLaren F1, hitted the wall at very, very low speed, nearly stopped... exited, and then, BAM! 500.000cr for chassis restore. I think it's kind of stupid thing...

Chassis Restore is only an option which you can chose to do and as soon as you use a car it becomes available, it has nothing to do with damage. Do a search on it, there have been a number of threads about it, I am sure you'll be able to find one.
